Naanya: Takamina-san~

Naanya: w Um, it’s a bit embarrassing to convey this directly…so I’ll say something through this monitor!

Naanya: Dear Takamina-san, For hauling AKB48 Group, for bringing everyone together, I really respect you for that. I was really happy about your letter during seitansai, thank you very much! Like what Takamina-san said you wished to see, I want to be able to become someone who can stand as AKB’s center together with Mion someday. Until then, I intend to learn many things from the seniors, follow in your footsteps & absorb as much as I can! I don’t think that I can become a member like Takamina-san but at least from the humanity side, I wish to learn as much as I can with Takamina-san as my target.

Takamina: *laughs with teary eyes*

Naanya: Even if Takamina-san leaves AKB, I intend to keep you as a target forever! So…someday, until the day that you can see me & Mion in the center, please wait with anticipation!

Takamina: Okay~

Naanya: Please look after me from now onwards too! I love you!

Dear Naanya, Congratulations on your 15th birthday.

I’ve had the chance to write this letter to you this time. This is the first time I’m writing a letter to someone who is so much younger than me so I’m nervous.

The first time that I met Naanya face to face properly was during the MV shoot for Party is over. Being a center so suddenly, I remembered you being perplexed about it. It’s unthinkable now but at that time, you were shy & withdrawn so I had been worriedly watching while wondering, “Will this kid be alright?”.

So, when you were selected to appear in the musical AKB49, honestly, I was really worried. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I went to watch the musical. The one standing on that stage was not Owada Nana, but Yoshinaga Hiroko was the one standing there. Seeing you putting your all into the song, the dance & the acting, I was really surprised at how much you have grown & improved.

The other day, it has not been aired yet, but when you came AKB48SHOW’s Soukantoku’s Pep-talk Room we had talked about various things together. One of it, when I said that, “Someday, I’d like to see a Mion & Naanya double center~”, this is what Naanya said to me, “Then, please stay (in AKB48) until that time”. It made me very happy. Because you weren’t joking when you said those words, you were serious. For now, just focus on challenging many things, laugh a lot, cry a lot, please treasure the time that you’re spending with your comrades. Then, surely you’ll be able to find the dream that you haven’t been able to find so far. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to watch you grow while staying by your side, but no matter in what shape it may be, I will continue to watch over you. I hope that this will become a wonderful one year for Naanya. P/S: Each time you see my face, you’d say ‘So small~’ & pat at my head. Please stop that. Well, that part of you is cute too & I like it. We talked about many things & I really respect Takamina-san so I thought to myself that 'I want to become like this person’ but it’s probably impossible for me…I’ll do my best! In my own way.
