C.H.I.E.F. Talk

We’ve all heard it and/or said it ourselves, Talk is cheap. That seems like a great philosophy for life right? Talk is cheap, shut up and do something. That seems like the mentality of a great person who has their life together. Here’s another perspective, what if what your saying is inspired by the vision you have for your life? For instance Muhammad Ali said he was the greatest before others recognized it. It made many people very uncomfortable. Many thought he was a crazy, loud mouth, young black man who’s words had no weight. Then what did he do? Rose up to be recognized as the greatest boxer of all time. He didn’t stop at greatness in the ring, he was also the GOAT outside of the ring. His pursuit to uplift his people and hold the government and society accountable for oppressing them was second to none. I’ll leave you with these thoughts. Talk is not cheap when you have the vision to back it up. Talk is a wonderful motivator, it challenges you to be who say you are. As long as you hide your vision of who you are, you can’t be held accountable, when your being opposite of that.

Using Ali as an example I want you to think about these question. Is talk cheap or do people want you to be silent, so they can remain comfortable? What is it that you believe about yourself and why are you afraid to speak it?

Be You! Be Great! Be Love!

Life is like a movie we all have roles (purpose) to play.  Question is are you playing the role that was meant for you?  Does the role you assume match up with who you are or is it just a means to and end.  Some of us play the wrong role for income, others of us are playing the wrong role for relationships.  What ever the motivation behind playing the roles are the fact remains when out side of your specific purpose (in the wrong role) you are wasting life’s s most valuable asset, and that is time.

We were all placed here for a specific our life journey is best spent figuring that out and then walking in that purpose.  First step to figuring out your purpose is to figure out who you are.  What kind of personality do you have, what are you passionate about and who do you have a heart for.  Getting to know yourself is a life long journey.  There is a foundation of who you are that will likely remain throughout life but there are also changing aspects of who you are.  As you grow and mature the way you think and feel about things and people can and likely will change.    It is this growth and maturity that will help you keep walking in your purpose.

When you know who you are and you know what you were meant to be you won’t misuse your energy.  Often we try to be all things to all people when that was never meant for us to do.  No human is capable of this yet many of us stress ourselves out trying to do it.  When we try to be all things to all people we become nothing for anybody because we become exhausted and useless.  There is a unique purpose that lines up with who you are.  When you figure that out you can appropriately use your energy which will help you to conserve your energy.  

The world is filled with so many people meant to do so many different things.  We do ourselves and the world a disservice by trying to be something we are not or trying to be everything to all people.  The best time to be you is now.  I urge you to find you and be true to you, so that you can live your best life leaving your unique imprint on this world. Just Incase you ever have doubt I want you to know that the world needs you to be you!
