I love my friends dearly, they're some of the closest ppl in my life, but sometimes it gets annoying when they're so nitpicky about being "cringe". like shut up!! you know, it's really hard to come to terms with/accept the abuse/truama I've had in my childhood because of the argument "you have food, clothing, shelter and luxuries why are you depressed" because that argument is supposed to guilt trip you, and it works. logically I know that just because there are people out there who've had it harder than me, doesn't mean I'm not allowed to feel like this. having a complicated relationship with parents who did a good job at providing for you, but would mentally/physically hurt you is weird. you want to leave and go away but you feel guilty because you've been giving a "nice" life. you feel like you don't deserve the nice things you have/the nice things you receive in the future. and trying to leave makes you ungrateful.

tldr: I have a weird relationship with my parents, I love them because they're good at providing for me the material things I needed but are awful at emotionally supporting me

I hate that stupid old saying "you have to love yourself before you can love someone else" no the fuck you don't. people can teach you how to love yourself, people see you in a different way that you see yourself. people love you in ways you don't love yourself and it's okay to need help with that. someone will love you with your scars or stretch marks or your belly. people will see them as beautiful and gorgeous in ways you never thought you would. don't listen to that fucking saying. let people teach you self love when you need it.
