いままで写真を撮ることを目的としたことはない。通勤で、旅行で、散歩で、買い物で、出掛けるついでにカメラも持っていくというスタイルだった。あくまで写真はわたしの生活を記録するもので、生活より写真が前に出てはいけない気がしていたの。

だけどもう、そういうの一回とっぱらっちゃおうかな。あれはだめ、これはだめってじぶんで勝手に決めていたもろもろのルールはいったん白紙にしちゃいましょう！

そう諭されてああそうか。そうだよね。ふぅとひと息ついて肩の力を抜く

肩に力が入っていたことにも気づかないくらい遠くのなにかにこころを囚われて近くのものが見えなくなっているときいちばん必要なものは休息だったりする

ありがとう。わたしは安心してたたかえばよいのだ。

きみのデッサンすきだよ。正直で、嘘がなくて。でもね、嘘つかなきゃいけないんだよ。

先生が言う、嘘をつくとはすこしオーバーに描く、誇張する、という意味だったと思う

リアルとリアリティが違うように本物にいくらこだわっても、本物らしく見えないと意味がない

頭では分かっていても、その嘘を許せない頑ななわたしはいろんな面でわたし自身を縛っている

美しいものにはほんのすこしの嘘が混ざっているきっと
