i miss my ocs,, i miss them a lot

this is also a sideblog to store all the information about ocs that i may have, as well as is the primary hub of all the blurbs and stuff i write about them.

Because yeah, he really can’t feel his legs. But maybe he can regain feeling in his legs eventually, mhm.

imagine they were just numb from him sleeping in a weird position 💀 but i doubt it.

red's holding mouses hand, trying to get him to calm down. to breathe with him. because everything's going to be okay, mhm.

Oof. Welp. Angst galore today.

red: ... oh.

red, carefully reaching out: can i?

he'll just end up grazing mouses legs as a little test. to see if he can at least feel *something*.

Because that’s all he cares about.

red: sad? no, just tired. i'm alright though. and shush now, you should rest, okay?

But the doctors are hopeful. And so too is Red, I think.

for some reason i can see mouse waking up just as red was reaching for the door to leave. imagine him glancing over his shoulder one last time and seeing mouse staring back at him.

red: oh... good evening, bello. i'll.. uh. call the nurse.

Well whoever is employer is going to be so upset he’s on bed rest for a while.

at least red is coming over the moment the phone call ends, mhm. even tho i doubt mouse is even awake. he'll just stay by his side, but out of the nurses' way in case theyre working on him still.

and he'll come back the next day. and the next.

shame he cant really stay for long. and he also hasnt told coral yet. she doesnt need to know. not yet. and it means he needs to be home to make dinner, clean, etc.

What if he had put Red as his emergency contact? And so Red gets home or something like that and he gets the call?

red, who had just about finished putting coral to bed when the phone rang: uh, yes?

he didnt expect a call, thats for sure. and now hes just frozen as he listens to the nurse or whoever talk to him

He'll give Red one last kiss before telling him to drive safe. I can totally see them taking a little long to actually part ways.

red, after securing coral's seatbelt and standing upright: uhm..

red: today was really nice. truly. i'd like to see you again sometime soon, if your schedule allows it?

he sounds so shy 🥺🥺🥺 because he doesnt want to pressure mouse!! but he also craves being with him more than anything.

It truly is such a perfect day.

would be a shame if something happened, wouldnt it? anyways.

coral ended up napping on accident, and i feel like they will end up leaving soon because of that. if she's tired, no need to keep her in the sun for much longer!!

And then he's going back to munching on his own food. I say going back but it's more like he's starting because he was holding them both before.

red is just leaning against mouse as he keeps people watching. and i have an image of coral laying down on the blanket so she can cloudgaze.

theyre being so soft and domestic right now, i love it.

Red will continue to be hand-fed by Mouse. For funsies.

coral just calls out bullshit the same way red does. and then they both weaponize it against each other too

red is at least just going along with it. because its clear mouse is enjoying this, at least.

coral: ? no you didn't?

busted. anyways. i have an image of him trying to protest some more and mouse just shoving a strawberry in his mouth as he does.

Mouse: I'm good. Work has slowed down so I'm not constantly stressed.

What work did he tell Coral he was doing? Idk, because my brain isn't working. But I'm sure it's something reasonable.

coral: oh, yay :D

she's now just happily snacking in peace. and red is really quiet. i think he's just peoplewatching, but you never know what's on his mind when he gets like this. sir, cmon.

red, finally: we should go out more often. this is... nice.

He keeps pressing kisses on their heads because he's just so happy they're here with him. Aww.

coral: oh, im okay :) ... i just really dont like gym class. but dad says im doing great in everything else :D !

apparently, despite all her running around, she has super low stamina and gets shortness of breath often. so she's just forced to sit and watch everyone else have fun lest she goes to the nurse. again.

coral: how are you though? its been soooo long since i last saw you!!

i think coral has a major sweet tooth. so as long as theres something sugary, she'll like it. and red is more indifferent. as long as its not undercooked or burnt to the crisp, he'll eat most things.
