Dry Eyes - Saja Boys x reader
Your eyes were dry yet again so you were constantly blinking at yourself in the mirror to try and get the dryness to go away or at least lessen.
“Uh babe? Why are you blinking at yourself?” Abby asked from the doorway of the bathroom, arms crossed and leaning against the doorframe.
“My eyes are dry again,” you replied, looking at him through the mirror, “blinking helps them feel better.”
“Ah that makes more sense. I’m sorry your eyes are bothering you though, anything I can do?” Abby asked as he stepped into the bathroom and stood behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder.
You relaxed into his touch and shook your head. “I don’t think so, it’s kind of just something I need to live with, but thank you.” You gave Abby a smile before turning around to face him and wrapping your arms around him.
“I have to admit that I thought you were batting your eyes at yourself when I first saw you.” Abby told you, laughing a little. You lightly smacked his chest as you chuckled a little yourself. “Why would I do that?”
“I don’t know, maybe you just really like looking at yourself! Listen, I’m not judging, babe, I look at myself all the time!”
You had already started walking away by the end of Abby’s sentence because you knew that he’d just start flexing in the mirror.
Your eyes were bothering you again since they were feeling quite dry today. You and Romance were out for a walk in a nearby park and were currently taking a small break by sitting on a bench. Romance was talking and you looked over at him, blinking quite a bit because of your dry eyes.
Romance suddenly stopped talking and just stared at you for a moment before placing a hand over his heart. “Aw, my love! You are so cute, batting your eyes at me like that.”
You stopped blinking for a moment and gave him a confused look. “Wait, what? Oh, no that's not what I was doing. My eyes are really dry right now and blinking a lot helps.” You explained, keeping your eyes on him.
“Just say you hate me.” Romance muttered dramatically as he looked away from you shaking his head, putting on a little act. Once he had his moment, he looked at you with a little bit of concern. “Are you okay though?”
“I’m fine, Rom, it’s just annoying,” you told him with a small smile and reaching down to take his hand, “it’ll get better in a few days.”
Romance relaxed and nodded, giving your hand a delicate squeeze. “Okay, as long as you're okay, I'm okay.”
Your eyes were feeling quite dry today, making you blink way more than usual to try and relieve the uncomfortable feeling they were causing you. You were sitting beside Mystery on the couch, the two of you watching a movie, and you were continuously blinking.
Mystery noticed this and leaned forward a little to look at you. “You okay? Why are you blinking like that?” He asked you, a hint of concern in his tone. “It kind of looks like you’re just constantly batting your eyes at the tv.”
You had to laugh a little at his words but waved him off and shook your head. “No, no, it’s nothing like that. I’m fine, my eyes are just really dry and bugging me. Sometimes blinking a lot makes them feel not as dry.” You explained as you looked at him and blinked a few more times quickly.
Mystery smiled as he watched you blink at him. “Hm, cute.” He murmured before leaning back and pulling you closer to him on the couch. He kissed the corner of one of your eyes before kissing your head. “Well I hope they feel a little better soon, my love. Let me know if you need anything.” He added as you leaned into him more, the two of you focusing back on the movie.
Your dry eyes were acting up quite a bit today and it was driving you crazy. The only way to make them feel a bit better was to blink an excessive amount of times. Baby was currently across from you, looking at something on his phone while you were trying to relieve your dry eyes.
He looked up from his phone and found you just staring at him, blinking intensely. He slowly lowered his phone and looked at you in confusion. “Okay, what is happening? Is this like…some kind of secret message you’re trying to give me?” He asked you, snapping you out of the little trance you were in from focusing on your eyes.
“Huh? What do you mean?” You asked him, tilting your head slightly.
“You’ve literally just been sitting there staring directly at me and blinking like this,” Baby then proceeded to blink rapidly, “it’s scaring me.”
You just stared at him for a moment before slowly leaning in and blinking even quicker then you were before. Baby’s eyes widened and he leaned back quickly. “Babe, stop! What the hell is happening?!”
You burst out laughing and leaned back again, pointing at him. “You should’ve seen your face! Priceless. My eyes are just really dry and blinking like that makes them not feel so dry.” You explained while still laughing.
“And you couldn’t have just told me that in the first place! Jeez…” Baby murmured as he ran a hand over his face. “Your eyes are okay though, right?” He asked, looking at you again.
Your face softened at his question and you nodded. “They’re fine. I just have dry eyes and sometimes they just get really bad. They’ll feel better tomorrow I’m sure.”
Baby also relaxed a bit after hearing your words. “Okay good. Let me know if there’s anything I can do.” He told you before getting up to sit on the bed next to you and pulling you close. “Don’t do that again though…”
It had reached that season where your dry eyes felt drier than normal and it annoyed you greatly because it meant that you were blinking way more to try and make them feel better. You were currently out on a date with Jinu, the two of you sitting across from each other at a table in the corner of a quiet restaurant.
While the two of you were talking, you started blinking quite a bit since your eyes were bothering you yet again. Jinu stumbled over his words for a second and looked around briefly before looking at you again. You were still blinking the same way you were before. Jinu thought for a second before blinking back at you in the same way.
You stopped talking and just looked at him for a moment. “Uh, Jinu? Why are you blinking at me like that?” You asked him, trying not to laugh.
Jinu’s eyes widened and his face flushed slightly. “You’ve been blinking at me in the same way! I thought we were like…flirting or something? Like is this some kind of…modern flirtation method?”
You had to bite your lip slightly to stop yourself from bursting out into laughter. “Oh, Jinu…you are so cute. My eyes are really dry right now and blinking like that helps make them feel a little better.”
Jinu’s face only got redder as he listened to your explanation. “Okay so just forget I did and said anything.” He murmured as he looked out the window, attempting to hide his face from you.
“Oh my god you are so adorable,” you told him with a small chuckle, “you technically weren’t wrong though, some people do use their eyes as a way to flirt.”
That made him feel a bit better and Jinu relaxed a little and looked at you again, his face not so red anymore. “Oh interesting, at least now I know.” He said quietly, taking in a deep breath before letting out a small groan. “You’re gonna bring this up often, aren’t you?”
