general notes:

their hair is naturally fluffy.

not real ears, they are hair tufts.

pre-ritual/pre-forsaken

longer, fully dark

the natural hair they've had for most of their life, nothing special. they've never really kept it longer than this.

azure occasionally liked to braid it.

post-ritual/during forsaken

shorter, choppy

cut it sometime after the ritual, as part of a frantic effort to 'fix' themselves & 'be reborn anew'.

hasn't taken great care of it (and their hygiene in general) due to their debilitating mental state.

grey streaks appeared due to massive stress + the spawn's power taking a toll on their body.

the bright white streaks only appear in their second life.

post-forsaken

they're stuck in their second life, thus the white streaks stayed.

went back to being fluffier & softer with the proper care.

azure helps them comb or wash it whenever they don't have the strength to do it themselves.
