Trixaroni and Cheese!

Since I got a couple of folks asking me this, I suppose I can go ahead and let y’all know where I was gonna go with it.

Basically, Discord was gonna send them off to find “the fountain of purity”. They’d wind up trekking off to the far end of Equestria (through montage) to find it hidden away in a cave on top of a mountain, and by the time they’d get there, Trixie’s transformation would be complete. Trixie would drink from the fountain, but nothing would happen, causing her to get super angry as she realized that Discord had lied to them. This, in turn, would result in her punching a hole through the fourth wall reality (thanks to her new draconequus powers), and she’d rush through said hole with Cheese in tow to go shout at Discord for lying to her. Discord would’ve then let slip that he actually intended for her to eat the apple, and had messed with her before to get her mad enough to take his “the apple is his prized possession” bait, because he wanted to see what would happen if a pony ate it. Cheese would then get mad at him as well, and would’ve managed to convince Discord to change her back to normal (which he could’ve done in the first place), but depending on if my followers were into the idea, she might’ve ended up staying a draconequus, and I would’ve played around with that for a while with regular posts. I might’ve even just left her that way for the rest of the blog, and have her just shape-shift to look normal. Oh, and she was going to be more of a partial draconequus than a full-blown one, so she wouldn’t have been nearly as powerful as Discord, but still enough to do some crazy stuff.

Hey everyone. I’ve got some bad news.

I’m sorry to have to say it, but I believe it’s time for me to put this blog to rest. It had a good run, and I have been more than happy with how the blog turned out (over 4,000 followers! I still can hardly wrap my head around that!) but at this point, I just don’t have enough of an interest in it to keep it going. Over the last few months I’ve been slowly losing interest in MLP, and that’s translated to a lack of interest in running a blog based on it. Then, during the summer, my life got really busy. In the shuffle I lost all my momentum with this blog, and I’ve never been able to really get it back because of the fact that I wasn’t watching the show regularly.

It’s been great doing this, though, and I can’t thank you all enough for being interested in my dorky little blog about two show-ponies wandering around aimlessly for weeks on end. I’m sorry that this ended up happening before I could finish the arc I was on, so I want to leave you with this pic of what Trixie was going to look like once her transformation was complete.

Had to do a bit of finagling to post this one, because of how you submitted it, but I’m glad to do so to properly show off this entry!

Trixie is trying to learn how to teleport. Unfortunately, she seems a bit lightheaded at the moment. Perhaps a result of that ’gypsy curse’? Or maybe just a common symptom among unicorns learning to teleport?

For the 4000 followers art contest! I did my best. my art isn’t as great as the others.

I’m gonna be honest and say that I don’t have a clue what’s going on here, but I love it anyways.

This isn’t technically an entry to the contest, but I got it only a day or so before I announced the thing, so I’m gonna take a little liberty and call this the first entry!

Man, you wouldn’t believe how many asks I got after last week’s post that were either scolding Trixie or crying for her to be punished! You guys are harsh! She was injured and upset, cut her a break! (Says the guy who’s putting her through all this)

Sometimes bad ideas seem good no matter how many people tell you different.

((I gotta say thanks to ask-littleeris for that ask, by the way, because it’s what inspired the plot of this story arc beyond just “lets go see Discord”! Also, in case it’s not obvious, all of those asks in the first panel are basically variations on “don’t eat the apple, stupid!”
