@dragonsmirk so the BEST thing about being a supervisor with this particular job is that I won't even have a phone system installed TO take any calls. When customers ask one of my team to speak with a supervisor, they have a whole department full of "senior advisors" they actually get sent to instead. The "supervisor" position is just there to like, motivate the team and keep them on task and fix their clock punches and stuff like that, or help out if they have any tech issues. I'll also be listening to calls and making sure my team follows procedure and coaching them if they're not doing things by the book. Aside from a bunch of paperworky boring stuff, it's a pretty sweet gig :D

Our fridge is dying and I called maintenance to fix it on Tuesday and they didn't do it today so i guess we cant keep cold food until Monday or later because maintenance and the landlord (husband and wife) "don't work on fridays"

Just got an email from livejournal that someone just "liked" a post I made in 2011. First off, since when can you "like" LJ entries? And secondly, I'm glad we all left LiveJournal because now I dont have to reconcile with my 2011 writing style or the stupid things I said in 2011.

Fuck my whole entire life I just spent 2 hours on the phone with an elderly couple trying to fix an issue with their photos and some of the photos were close up shots of this man's taint and I had to see that! Fuck right off!

@dragonsmirk I was definitely thinking about a tapestry! Most of them I've found have either been covered in pot leaves and tie-dyed or like entirely too fancy for my apartment but I haven't looked at redbubble. I'll have to check them out!

Where do you buy decorations for your house that don't suck? Specifically wall art that's not cheesy or uh weird? Every time I go looking around everything is either another Starry Night poster print or like a pot of flowers and a shoe on reclaimed barn wood. I'm talking living room art, so something normal enough for strangers to see but not a 4 canvas asymmetrical silhouette of a tree at sunset lol. Do you know what I mean? My walls are bare and I feel like it's kinda creepy? I dunno. We've lived here for a decade and never decorated because it has always felt temporary. I dont know! I deserve nice things!
