I Am About To Get Really Stupid At Record Speed

For everyone lacking context, the Golden Age AU is just me riffing on every piece of comic book media I’ve ever consumed. Here are some single-paragraph rundowns I’ve made to keep track of things as I start to write!

May 1st, 2026 - Sign-Ups Close 

After sign-ups close, no one else can join! No exceptions!

May 31st, 2026 - First Author Check-In 

Author’s will check in by midnight PST with a minimum of 1500 words written, as well as a summary for artists.

June 2nd, 2026 - Artist Summaries Released 

The artists (and betas) are given a list of the author’s summaries, and have a week to make a list of their top five (or more!) that they’d like to make art for.

June 9th, 2026 - Artist & Beta Claims 

The artists and betas send in their lists of preferred fics and everyone is matched up! There may be multiple rounds of claims depending on the amount of people who’ve signed up, the ratio of artists to writers, and if any artists want to do art for more than one fic.

June 30th, 2026 - Second Author Check-In, First Artist & Beta Check-In 

Just like check-in one, but the artists and betas are here now! Authors will have a minimum of 3000 words written, and artists should be able to provide at least a rough draft or other plan of what they’re making.

July 20th, 2026 - Third Author Check-In, Second Artist & Beta Check-In 

Authors will have a minimum of 4500 words written, artists should be making headway on whatever they are making, and betas should be editing! 

August 3rd, 2026 - Final Check-Ins 

Authors should be finished or almost finished with their fics, artists should be finished or almost finished with their works, betas should be helping polish things up. The teams will give an estimate on how much longer they will need to complete/make posting date requests, and a schedule will be shared.

August 10th, 2026 - Posting Begins 

The first fic and its corresponding artwork will be posted on this day, and then there will be one fic posted a day until all fics have been posted!

Spies are Forever 10th Anniversary event!

Rules:

For the month of June 2026, create and upload works based on the prompts. To get reblogged onto the event page tag @saf-10-years and tag the post as #spies are forever 10 years

Any medium is allowed. Writing, drawing, cosplay, music, sculpture, moodboards etc etc.

Any characters, ships and scenarios are welcome! This includes AUs and OCs, as long as they are related to Spies are Forever.

You can interpret the prompts as loosely or as literally as you want.

Angsty/violent/sexual works welcome, but make sure to tag everything properly, especially 18+ content.

In the spirit of celebrating the creative minds who made this musical, and the people it inspired to create fanworks for it, I encourage everyone to reblog, comment on and like the pieces created for this event!
