And I will be graduating with a First with Distinction in Oral German :D

But since my last update I got 71 in translation, 81 in my oral, 76 in my first film essay, 75 in the second, and 74 on my religion essay (reminder that for British unis 60 = B/2:1, 70 = A/First, 80 = A+/High First...) 

how do you say ‘or is there more to this statement than meets the eye’?

all of my attempts sound so awfully clunky, if anyone has a more elegant translation please let me know!! 

i also got sixty in my image analysis for the film module so i’ve averaged out at 60 for that module which is the worst mark i’ve ever got. but then i also got 74 and 76 so my average for all 3 is 70 which is just about a first. 

at king’s they use something called a c-score to work out your final degree classification (there’s an equation and yes, i did the maths...). i worked out that with my current grades, i’m pretty on track to get a first, which i never in a million years thought would happen. i have three cultural modules and one language module left and i worked out if i get 65 on two cultural modules, 60 on the other one, and 65 in language (bearing in mind that i usually get in the high sixties/low seventies for cultural modules and in my first two years i got 80 in language), i’ll still average out at 72 which is a first. and that’s very achievable. so i don’t want to get my hopes up because it’s still a lot of work and i went into uni wanting a 2:1 and thinking i’d never be able to get a first, but i feel slightly reassured now!
