my current makeup inventory

i’m trying to find that sweet spot between a minimalist and a collector. i don’t think there is anything wrong with buying stuff for yourself, but too much of one thing is never good. so i’m making an effort to use my make up since the money has already been spent, its up to me to make it purposeful and worth it.

throughout this journey, i hope i can get creative with my products, play around with looks, and feel pretty again.

maybe 4 years ago, make up was apart of my daily routine, something integral and ritualistic. i was also dating around/dating someone during that time, and now, i date no one. and that, i believe, is something to note. my current routine is achingly rudimental, i just brush my teeth, put my hair in a clawclip or bun, rub in some sunscreen and head out the door.

at my prime age, i hope i can rediscover and redefine what pretty looks and feels like. and i hope its not something i have to apply in the morning or take off at night, i hope its something that i can see on the surface and find when i reach deep down inside.
