I think you carry the people you’ve loved with you forever, not in a ‘you can never get over them’ way but more like loving them changed you and it meant something and you have to make peace with that

it’s nuts that the way you meet people that will be in your life for a long time can be so circumstantial and random like if i hadn’t bumped into you that one time you just wouldn’t have been in my life for years to come. unreal that connections can come from anywhere and any accidental happenstance can change your life for the better

So, I think one of the biggest lessons I’m currently learning is that it’s important to know how to be alone but it’s also important to know how to let others in
