Jett let her pay for the tickets even though technically he shouldâve paid. But he decided to let up on the whole gentleman thing just a bit. âI think thatâs the second time Iâve seen you smile.â He said as they walked through the the entrance hall to the museum. âSo is there art in particular that you want to look at first?â Heâd been here so many times he knew every piece, and was more than capable of being a personal tour guide.
âFeel privileged, I have cousins who have seen it less often,â Lupe replied deadpan, though clearly there was at least some humor behind the statement. The chef wasnât above making fun of herself or her nature, even if the delivery could be questionable. âYouâre the expert, Jett. Why donât you start with the worst, my keep expectations low.â
"Oh trust me I do" he shot back with a grin. A little surprised at the small sense of humor she gave him. "If you want to start with the worst that would be either history or commercial." Jett considered those to be the worst because commercial art was filled with pieces that the rich considered masterpieces. It wasn't that the art wasn't good but given way too much hype just because the artist came from a rich background, or some other ridiculous reason. When it came to history while he was a fan of the classics and the artists who shaped art history. Jett just didn't think some of the pieces still wore the crown today. "We can start with commercial first I have less respect for that category." He said leading her to the hall that led to that category.
