I justâŚwhy, as a roleplayer, would you even TALK to an villain character, or one that is canonically so powerful that they are universally feared and respected for it, if you werenât going to acknowledge that? Do you just like, get off on making your completely vulnerable and human character, that should be pissing themselves, mouth off? Do you not realize how irritating that is for someone who has put time and thought into working out how to play their bad guy right?Â
Or are you really just so full of suck and limited in your writing abilities that you cannot comprehend how to actually make your character react in fear? There can be more than one kind of interaction you know. Characters can dislike one another, fear, and hate one another. Crack is one thing, but it gets really frustrating as an RPer to have your characterâs actual abilities and position glazed over by characters that should react to it. Those of us that play powerful and feared characters, or villains, do it for a reason, and we put time and thought into how to pull them off. Itâs obnoxious to ignore that. Go talk to someone thatâs not a god or might as well be if you donât want to deal with that.Â

@stark-enterprises
It was only natural to take a few steps back, Tony told himself as Loki dominates his vision. Theyâve danced this dance before. The last time it had a more explosive outcome. Something Stark doesnât wish to repeat anytime soon. âSo what?..â he states whilst standing his ground, eyes now locked onto the one before him. Ignoring the unsettling feeling at the back of his mind.  âAm I not allowed to presume? Because, letâs face it, the only time you have ever been anywhere near me, let alone this planet, is if you want something. Which I donât have. So why are you here? Iâll give you thirty seconds before I call someoneâŚâ Tony isnât entirely sure whatâs keeping him rooted to the spot. Curiosity? Fear? There are some things that even he has trouble figuring out. Especially when it came to his own mind. Â
Long fingers reached into the breast pocket of the crisp white shirt and pulled out a rectangle made out of thick, slightly pearlescent cardstock. With a flourish, Loki twirled the card between his fingers before holding it out to Stark.
âI am here on an invitation.â, the card was indeed an invitation to the cityâs charity event that apparently Stark had agreed to host in his little stronghold. âI know I am a little early, but I was asked here by the mayorâs assistant. I assure you, I am merely here to ... mingle.â
"If that isn't a surprise, Mr. Stark. Long time no see, as they say."
ââIâve been busy. Clearing things up â he replies a little sharper than he intended. â I am not one to be the bearer of bad news⌠But I donât think Iâve got anything you want. So why donât you just turn around and head back off to Neverland?âÂ
âOh, but you only assume that you do not have what I want.â, heâs towering over Stark now. Nothing of his armor is left now, instead he is dressed in simple black slacks and a white dress-shirt. Itâs only his hair, reaching almost between his shoulders, that sets him apart from any other desk-slave in the higher levels of Starkâs tower. âAnd that is a little presumptuous.â
Damn you people who put this man in black from head to toe. You knew exactly what you were doingâŚ
