Basically, this blog is now closed. If we do end up making a new one during the summer, then it will be different and led by different headmates.

Reason; 1. While this blog was originally meant for Alterhumans, Therians, Systems, LGBTQIA+, etc. The headers, stims, etc., ended up being used for NSFW [sexual] content as well and we are not okay with that. /srs 2. Furthermore, many Anti-Endos ended up following us as well. Which we once again dislike because we are a partially Endo system... So like... confusion? 3. Our main fronters no longer enjoy making content for this blog, knowing that it could get into the hands of yet another NSFW writer... or an Anti-Endo, or even someone who doesn't even know what any of these labels even are... And let's be honest, being tagged in yet another NSFW Reader x [Insert character/Real Person] fanfiction would weird us out... Because this is not what the blog was meant for?

Look. Let's be honest here, we are kind of thinking that if we were to make a new Tumblr blog, we would have to lead things differently, because people don't seem to care about DNI lists in most cases [Of course there ARE genuinely good people as well who listen to them and other exceptions too]...

So if we are going to end up making another Blog sometime during the summer or in the future, we are going to have to make different content on it, which would probably be more System or Alterhuman-centered... Or at least LGBTQIA+ centered...

Also, regarding the server... it had been in the works for a long time, but then we got busy and also our mental health got way worse... so like... We can't really finish that atm...

We are sorry to everyone who supported us and well... yeah... I hope you have a good day, even if this is a bit out of the blue.

And how do they end? Because mine ended pretty suddenly when I started munching down on uncooked spaghetti, for some reason. It was nice and crunchy though I wish it had more diameter so it would feel more like I’m eating metal (it doesn’t have the taste for that though, [disappointed expression]).

Heya there. Yeah, we are pretty busy, also why we didn't get to the other asks yet, but this can be answered quite quickly. Another thing to note is that the main Hosts are fronting less and less due to having been out here for far too long, however, we can answer this question real quick since it doesn't require us to spend hours searching for pics or editing things. Thank you for this ask btw; it is appreciated.

From our experience, intentionally triggering a Fictionkin shift isn't something that everyone is capable of, however, those who can trigger it tend to use a few different methods. We will list a few different ones.

Shift Music/Songs. These can be animal themed, soundtrack from source, simply songs that you associate with a kin, nature sounds, background noise of familiar places, and many other things.

Looking at fanart that reminds you of source or yourself

Speaking with canon mates, media mates

Being in a fictionkin server and interacting with fictionkins

Looking up things associated with your media or canon like: fanfiction, edits, ship media if you had a significant other and the fandom portrays it well, voice actors of the media, voice actors or actors of your kin livestreaming things, etc.

Here is an example regarding voice actors:

One of our alters, who is also a fictionkin, has shift triggers regarding the voice actors of his kin livestreaming games singing songs or just being silly. [The kin isn't the VA, but the VA voices said character in-game]

7. Some people have an associated aesthetic or pictures which they associate with their kins, some have specific sounds or actions they associate with kins, etc.

Some people also have shift triggers which are in no way associated with their kins.

Heard of some people who had stims or activities that were shift triggers, but they couldn't explain why. So really it is just a matter of finding what it is for you, it takes a bit of searching, but it usually brings results.

So, a lot of people have been asking about the Discord server.

To answer a few questions we decided to make this.

- Will the server be made?: Yes, however, things are coming along slower, due to School and just kind of being burnt out. It should still be done in a couple of weeks though.

- How will I apply and join the server?: Either through a Server Hosting Site, we will put it on [Planning on using Disboard, Top.gg or something like that. Being invited by someone else Or messaging us about it so we can send you the link After you join there will be a Verification through a Ticket once you read the Rules and the Additional Info.

- Has there been any new Sources added to the list?: Yes, a few: Warface; Aeon [By Icerift Freya]; Genshin Impact; Avatar [Na'vi Movies] being the four I can list off at the top of our head atm.

- How many people is the Server expected to start with?: There are a few people who asked about joining the server already and a couple people we know are waiting, so around 10 or maybe a bit less or over.

- What should we know about the Staff?: The staff for now will only consist of us as the owner and a trusted friend, depending on how big the server is gonna get we might open Staff Applications, however for now those are not planned.

- How is the Blacklist of the Server?: We really only have a general one, however some people also tend to censor food for personal comfort. We are well aware that many people don't like food being censored because it hurts those with Eating Disorders, however many of the people who we know and censor them, ourselves included censor them because it personally helps with our own. This isn't expected of everyone however and isn't added to the Blacklist, however many people still do it.

- Age Range of the Server: 16-32, with a separate category for adults and teens. Some people we personally know enough about and have on our other servers with the main Staff, and our sibling system we might also invite, however, those are the only exceptions to this. Because we know enough about them to know they are mature enough for it even if they are younger.

- What kind of Categories is the Server going to have?: To name a few: General Teens Only Adults Only LGBTQIA/Mogai Kins Systems IRLs Agere/Petre/Little Witchcraft Spiritual/Paranormal Religion TW Center [Where things can be more openly talked about, but censors are still needed and P0rn is still not allowed] Bots [Fun/Game ones we could also invite if people want] Journal Category
