We don’t need centrists and their incrementalism.
We need a progressive, bold Left.
The Mueller report redactions, explained in 4 charts
Why parts of the Trump-Russia collusion section were redacted
There are four reasons Barr gave for why certain sections would be redacted, and good reasons for them:
Revealing it would harm an ongoing matter. Ward writes, “Some redactions in the report will exist mainly to allow other related cases to continue unimpeded.”
It reveals investigative techniques. Ward writes that “it’s highly likely the US government had to use sensitive spying methods — like, say, an undercover agent or top-secret surveillance technology — to investigate.”
It reveals private information of third-party individuals. Ward writes the “Justice Department has long had a policy of not divulging people’s names during an investigation unless they are indicted.”
It was obtained via grand jury testimony. This is secret by law.
There’s a decent amount of redactions, but we can read enough to know Trump and his associates were open to Russia’s help
But it turns out Barr left out some crucial information.
Vox’s Zack Beauchamp lays out some of the damning things the report reveals about Trump’s action during the election.
This includes Trump directing an adviser to find the hacked Hillary Clinton emails, and approving another adviser’s efforts to set up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. And there may well be more under these black bars.
What the charts don’t show.
Mueller Made 14 Referrals of Potential Criminal Activity to Outside Offices, But Most Remain Redacted, Law & Crime
14 CASES OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY!
Who the fcuk says “fully exonerated” but the guy with 3500 lawsuits who never admits guilt.
Know their names and their stories.
If mainstream media won’t share their stories, we will.
Tell their stories.

“THE GREAT WALL OF LOS ANGELES”
by Judy Baca
Begun in 1974 and originally painted over five summers, Sparc founder Judy Baca’s ½ mile long masterpiece running along Coldwater Canyon Ave employed a diverse group of 400 youth and their families, working with a team of scholars and artists—including Isabel Castro, Yreina Cervantez, Judith Hernandez, Olga Munoz, Patssi Valdez, Margaret Garcia, Christina Schlesinger, Judy Chicago, and Gary Tokumoto. While many of our monuments glamorize the past, Baca’s landmark, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, pays tribute to working people of California while also acknowledging a checkered history of injustices toward its women and minorities. The detail above tells the tale of Guatemalan immigrant Luisa Moreno, a labor movement activist who convened the first national Latino civil rights assembly in 1939. @judy_baca/ @sparcinla/

“BANDOLERO"
by LeDania
Bogotá, Colombia artist, designer, and photographer Diana Ordóñez, aka LeDania, wants her colorful murals to leave viewers with feelings of positivity and vibrancy. While she intentionally avoids political and religious themes, her work does incorporate symbolism of the mythical and magical, even going as far as incorporating the Greek god Leda into her working name. Highlighted by @Wdwlls in 2015 as one of the rising female Latin American street artists to watch, LeDania’s fame has continued to grow. In 2018 she visited Detroit where she painted this tribute to Chilean guitarist Ismael “Bandolero” Durán and his daughter Amelia on Vernor Hwy at Newark St. Describing the finished work LeDania said “music can have have color and shape." @ledania/
Strikes work. Labor needs to recognize their power and influence.
