β¨Weakened Heart: Umbramortisβ¨
Severus Snape survived the war. Heβs not thrilled about it.
Life after Voldemort was supposed to be quiet, preferably nonexistent, and certainly not filled with other peopleβs problems. Instead, Severus finds himself in a most unfortunate predicamentβsaddled with an unwanted role as a healer for someone who, much like himself, would rather not be here at all.
His patient is fragile, infuriatingly difficult to keep alive, and far too comfortable with her own mortality. And yet, against all logic, sheβs also someone he doesnβt entirely hate. Which is concerning. Very concerning.
Trapped in a house where the furniture has too much personality, the house-elves are far too enthusiastic, and the family is distressingly nosy, Severus must endure the absolute worst fate imaginableβhuman connection. And if that wasnβt enough, it turns out that fate has cursed him with something even more insufferable: a very long, painful (frozen) slow-burn.
Sarcasm is exchanged like currency, reluctant care turns into something neither of them dare name, and Severus is faced with the most horrifying realization of allβperhaps life isnβt quite done with him yet.
For those who enjoy sharp wit, dry humor, and romance that moves slower than a petrified Flobberwormβthis oneβs for you.
P.S. My writing is way better than my drawing, I swear.
