Although it strongly resembles Litwick, this Pokémon is an entirely different species. It lives on the floors of the dampest caves. The bulb on its head accumulates static energy from the environmental humidity, causing it to glow with a soft, pulsing light. It uses this illumination to avoid getting separated from the rest of its colony while wandering the rocky ground.

Upon evolving, its bulb expands into a large, domed cap that projects light downward, perfectly illuminating its surroundings. It often attaches itself to the ceilings of dark galleries, mimicking a natural lamp and surprising those underneath with a shower of electric spores.
