Never fall into a routine ever again. Keep trying things that help you grow and keep trying things that push you out of the comfort zone. Life is what happens outside your comfort zone. Don’t have a comfort zone. Make the world your playground. Live on the edge. Don’t expect anything from anyone ever again. …
Journey to Self-Development
All of us reach our breaking point sometimes. I have reached mine most of the time over the past couple of weeks. The past kept on haunting me. All of the things I have not done and let past kept on finding ways to haunt me. It finds ways to make me feel disappointed, regretful, and sad about what have I done. Ugh. It makes me feel horrible. The awful thing about it though is that it makes me feel all the worse, to the point I think I made myself stop growing. I felt inadequate and not good enough. What’s worst is that I did’t potential in me, I felt like I was a piece of trash. I didn’t see myself as something worthy and deserving of anything. The pain that it strikes upon my heart is too strong to put into words. I know I shouldn’t be jealous about others but I can’t help it. Ugh. At the end of the day, I always try to remind myself that I shouldn’t pity myself for something I can no longer control. The past is in the past. Let it stay there. What I need to do now is act on what I can still change and do something about. I can still change the turn of things and turn my life around. I can study harder and raise my grades higher. I can still mend the broken parts of me. I can still do better on my exams and achieve my goals. I am still young and a bright future is still awaiting me. I guess it’s time to change things around and journey towards self-development. I can still head towards a better future. All I have to do is discipline myself, develop great habits, and strive for success. There should be no excuses and distractions. I can do this. I have to do this. I shall do this, along with His help. Lord God, please help me through this, as I put you into the center of my life. Lead me through.
Satiation Point
I felt like I was going to reach my breaking point after I had my exam in abstract algebra. I felt deplorably sad and disappointed with myself. I wanted to be alone and go somewhere to ease off the pain. Due to an unfortunate event, I had to meet my sister. That meant company, which I didn’t feel like having at that time. Well, a good friend talked to me during my alone time after our exam, which felt nice, in a way. :) At least it made me feel that I am not alone. Anyway, I eventually ate lunch with my sister and didn’t think about my exam for a while. But then, on my way to meet her, I felt all the blues and the disappointments of my past daunting on me again. It was as if all my dreams came crashing down, one by one. A requirement for graduate school is at least 3 recommendation letters. I planned to obtain one from the concerned professor but I think that won’t happen now. Just look at the results of my exam and you’ll know why. But then, I think that’s where His miracle comes into play. While contemplating on my disappointments and regrets, I eventually thought of plans A, B, and C, for backup. I am still going to try and will eventually get a recommendation letter no matter what. There are other resources. During our ride home, I kept on thinking about other outcomes and thought of the positive side. I am still going to graduate school no matter what. I think it is now clear that that it is where I want to be. I belong there. It is my calling.
It is indeed a miracle how I got into the positive side of things from being all gloomy after my exam. I am still sad and disappointed about it though, but there is nothing I can do about it anymore. What’s done is already done. I can not do anything about what already happened. What I can do now is move on and do my best to rise up back again. I should not let it burden me for the rest of my life. What I can do now is study better on that subject and put more effort into it.Â
I shall reevaluate and study the previous lessons to get a better grasp of what is to come.Â
I shall read the book after our lessons and do all the assigned exercises, consulting my professor if the need for it arises.
I shall do the problem sets and sample exams of other classes.
That’s all I can think of right now to improve my standing in that subject. Like how the supply and demand force eventually meet at an equilibrium point in economics,  I have to move to my equilibrium point to have a proper balance in my life. Given the constraints, I shall find my satiation point.  It is amazing how He always manages to always be there for us no matter what. I totally felt like the world was against me during and after my exam; but after contemplation and other realizations, I thought of getting back up and improve on myself. All thanks to Him. I think I better get going and organize my life to turn these words into actions. Until next time! :)
Great Years are Coming! :)
This day marked the day I left my teenage years and entered my 20′s. Honestly, I’m not sure how it is gonna be, but I think I have a clearer version of my goals now. :) (compared to last year) I think I finally saw a bridge that can lead me to helping and changing other people’s lives.  I think it’s all thanks to all the enlightenment I had from my midyear break this year. He really does find ways to give meaning to our lives. I’m really grateful He made me reach this far. Hopefully, I can make better days come my way, through His help of course (and all my family and friends) Cheers to my 20′s! :)

Everybody wants what feels good. Everyone wants to live a carefree, happy and easy life, to fall in love and have amazing sex and relationships, to look perfect and make money and be popular and well-respected and admired and a total baller to the point that people part like the Red Sea when…

Enlightened :)
This year’s lent had been so eventful for me in ways I will never have imagined. Despite all the trials and difficulties, the Enlightenment I had yesterday was more than enough. If one really listened closely to Him, one would figure out His ways. I just feel so overwhelmed and grateful for everything and the whole experience. Thank You! :)
Start of Lent
Today is the start of the Season of Lent, I don't have any idea yet as to what to sacrifice but it'll definitely be related to giving to the needy. God bless me. :)

Today
Preface
I would like to thank the priest who advised me to do the following:
Examine my prayer.
Remove ALL material distractions and temptations.
Use my time wisely.
Today marks the second half of the second month of this year. The first month's been a rough start but I am trying. I usually gave in to temptations and distractions. I think I was contented with a mediocre performance at some point in time. Nevertheless, that won't prevent me from accomplishing my goals. I still have time left and I hope to be able to use my time wisely by removing all potential (material) distractions and temptations. Starting now I WILL NOT give in to distractions and temptations. Of course I cannot guarantee the assurance of that but I will try my best not to. The season of lent is 2 days from now and I think the change I want to ignite now goes with the season perfectly. I hope this is a good start.
As a concrete part of avoiding distractions, I am only limiting myself to log in my SNS accounts at most twice a day unless otherwise urgently needed. I think I'll post other resolutions as time progresses. For now, let's see if I can accomplish this resolution for at least a week. :)
Once you get this you have to say 5 things you like about yourself publicly then send this to your 10 favorite followers. (non-negotiable) (positivity is cool)
1. How I constantly get up back again despite failures important life lessons.
2. How I constantly keep on improving my self.
3. How I always see the good in others.
4. How I love my family and friends.
5. My eyes
Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion

Chances. Choices. Changes.
This blog had been through a series of changes. It was originally created as an outlet during my first year as a university undergraduate student whenever I failed and decided to get up back again. It was created for me to improve on my self and see the changes. I had changed a lot since then...
I wanted to document how I changed my life from every downfall. I wanted to see the changes I have done throughout the years. True enough, I changed. A lot. However, I was not able to document them. I was too self-absorbed about the things I have done wrong that I forgot all about this blog. As I had a new beginning in my junior year in college, I chanced upon this blog again. I saw all the posts I created before. I felt ashamed of not being able to achieve the changes I wanted to do. Thus, I deleted all of them. I felt not good enough. I felt like a complete disappointment to my past self. I thought all about the chances I had but did not take. I thought all about the chances I wasted. Everything I thought of, I end up feeling sorry for myself.
Feeling sorry for one's self does not change anything though. Thus, I started on a new beginning. I discovered the studyblr community and was inspired by the number of people who also wanted to improve on themselves. I followed a few and learned a lot from them. I was also able to make friends with some of them.
Still, this does not change nor solve my problem. I applied what I learned from the studyblr community. I set goals for myself. Unfortunately, obstacles came along the way and I had to make choices. You see, I'm the perfectionist type of person. I wanted everything to be flawless. Perfect. Thus, I set very high standards myself which I was not able to accomplish. I did not feel good enough. I wanted to shut down. Everything I had done were so mediocre (on my high standards scale).
Anyway, I don't want to go about all the negativity I had back then and write everything about it in this post. It's the new year and I ought to have a good start.
To cut the story short, I came to a few realizations over the Christmas break. Eventually, I still ended up hoping to improve on myself and be better. I can still achieve my goals. I'll just have to work and study harder for it. In whatever I do, I shall do my best. Good is not enough. I have to maximize all opportunities that come my way. This is the change. The new year is the chance for me to turn my life around and it is my choice to change my life. In Him I trust.
PS. As part of this whole change thing, I created a study blog! Hooray! If I want to achieve my ultimage goal (graduate cum laude) so far, I have to focus on my academis this year. Here's to starting the year with great habits and disciplining myself. :)
Change is Constant turned 2 today!
PS. Changed this blog's theme today! Hooray for changes! :)

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
Unknown
This article is a must read whenever I am feeling down and not good enough. It's always good to let go of the negative thoughts and let the positivity in. I'm definitely looking forward to a new me for the new year ahead. Here's to a new me studying and working hard. Here's to me doing my best to accomplish my goals through His guidance and help. Cheers to a great year ahead! :)
1. Let go of thinking you aren't where you're supposed to be.
Everything you've done has helped you become who you're meant to be.
2. Release all thought patterns holding you back.
It's time to start telling yourself a more positive story.
3. Release the idea that your challenges are long-term.
All setbacks are only temporary, but the lessons learned are forever.
4. Let go of the need to have it all figured out.
What doesn't make sense yet will someday.
5. Let go of the idea that things aren't working out for you.
Everything is really much better than you can imagine.
6. Stop asking "WHY" this is happening to you.
Instead ask what you can learn from the situation.
7. Release the need to control the outcome.
You may not get what you want when you want, but trust you will always get what you need when you need it.
8. Stop believing you are your mistakes.
There are no mistakes, only growth.
9. Release the need to be right.
Proving others wrong does not make you right. Instead, focus inward and align with love. When you are confident in your own choices, you don't have to prove anything.
10. Let go of thinking it's too late for you.
Your dreams matter and they come to you for a reason. Follow your heart, and you will be free.
