Finally saw Project Hail Mary, it was fantastic, held up to all my expectations and then some. But I will say Grace is a better person than me for many reasons. But mostly because I would've included at least one "Eva you can go rot, fuck you forever" in that message. But of course he wouldn't do that, hes not a hold on to grudges type. But I can't relate even a little, you fuck me over to that extent, I will hold that grudge until I die. Even if it worked out and was for "the greater good", it's the fact that you did it at all.

He definitely holds on to grudges more in the book. I don't remember the exact moment or phrase but he absolutely fantasizes about being able to go back to Earth just to say "screw you" (or something more Grace-like maybe?) to Stratt after he gets his last memories back. Unfortunately the book never says what exactly he put in his message back to Earth.
