Yellow pond lilies (*Nuphar* species) and their broad floating pads cover the surface of a calm freshwater pond. Nuphar, commonly called yellow pond lilies or spatterdock, are native aquatic plants found throughout North America in lakes, ponds, and slow-moving streams. The plants root in bottom sediment and send up long stems that support both the floating leaves and the small, globe-shaped yellow flowers visible above the water's surface.

Theres a few new murals being painted on the Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis right now. Saw some local friends being painted on this one, which is real fun. Looking forward to seeing them finished!
