They were racists. They were xenophobes. They were Islamophobes. They were white supremacists, and they finally saw someone who talks their talk and they jumped at that opportunity.

That is the FACT.

White supremacy exists. It exists all over North America like a rampant disease (and I’m sure it exists in some of the people who are reading this in form or another). You can no longer hide that fact.

You can no longer police black and other people of colour. You can no longer play respectability politics and tell us that our rage is unfounded.You can no longer try to silence us.

White America and White North America at large give zero effs about PoC, and tonight proved that once given the chance they will jump to try legislate our oppression.

Little has actually changed in terms of race relations, instead white supremacy went dormant in the public eye and tonight we saw it manifest in all its potency.
