Launched in 2008, Fan began her career as a women’s wear designer and garnered immediate attention from GenArt, being named one of the "Fresh Faces" of 2009. From there, she was selected as one of six designers to participate in the esteemed Chicago Fashion Incubator. After discovering her true passion for fur, the C/FAN line quickly evolved into a collection of luxurious and accessible fur accessories. “I always viewed fur as impractical unless for cold weather - bulky, serious and difficult to store. I wanted to offer something that was playful, seasonless and easy to wear,” says Fan. C/FAN is known for its richly colored plush fur beanies, collars, headbands and scarves. The collection is carried at specialty boutiques and retailers around the world. The C/FAN collection has been featured in national and international outlets including Vogue Italia, WWD, Elle, People Style Watch, Glamour and has been recognized as a Chicago favorite by local outlets Refinery 29, Chicago Magazine, Michigan Avenue Magazine.
