I’ve always liked the idea of wearing black and white together (I did watch My Fair lady on repeat as a child, yes) with perhaps one pop of colour but it’s a hard thing to pull off day to day. I love the idea of wearing a white cashmere double-breasted coat with black leather gloves and black knee-high riding boots. A statement colour coming from a silk brightly patterned scarf round the neck or bag or as a headband / tied around a low bun. I’ve also been doing my hair in a chignon a lot recently and pinning a black velvet bow just above - looks very cute for work / dinner etc with thin minimal cat eye flicks, nude gloss and double pearl earrings…!
