More Photos from my recent visit to Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Travis County,and in this batch I've experimented with red infrared filters.

Some refer to IR photography as the "unseen world", and that is one element I at least try to underline in different ways as a tombstone tourist of sorts using my cheapo phone cam. But I hope I've brought some awareness, recognition, and framing of how graveyard images can be positively fascinating in general, but if you like, let me know what you think of these.

Live Oak is quite a large cemetery being over 15 acres, and I definitely did not cover it all, but if you're ever interested in visiting this one, you will find graves in plotted sections dating to the 1870's and that the cemetery is still in use.

Can't really explain the polarity but 19th centurie babies to a burial the day of my visit made it a little disorientating if not hypnagogic. I didn't take a lot of photos of them, but I have never seen so many infant markers in one cemetery before. Also there were a lot of hand-engraved markers. There was active graveside service and very well maintained grounds
