okay so in really short, i rly love mcr music but genuinely feel like what someone would call a poser bc idk every song or any of the story behind anything. and also i got an mcr shirt.
any way you could either help me learn or js give me rly basic concepts of literally any part of it..?

I'll give a quick overview of each album, PLEASE don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions or want more detail!!
I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love- This is their only album without a cohesive story line. Each song has it's own story (which are SO fun to analyze). Some songs with the most prominent story lines are Skylines and Turnstiles, written about 9/11, Cubicles, written about someone in love with someone at their office job who ends up moving away and leaves the narrator to fall into a depression, and Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us, about a stalker who won't leave the narrator alone despite their rejections. There are many more, again, let me know if you want to hear more detail about any specific songs!!
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge- This story follows the path of the Demolition Man and the Demolition Woman. They are killed, and the Demolition Man is told by the devil that he can no longer see his wife. the Man makes a deal with the demon, promising to kill 1000 evil men in order to be reunited with his love. He embarks on his journey, slowly losing his mind as he goes. When he reaches the end of the list, he realizes that the final name is his own.
The Black Parade- This story follow a character called "The Patient" as he struggles through his diagnosis with cancer. His life before was rough, with his lover leaving him and him believing no one would care if he died. On his deathbed, he was convinced there was no need in feeling bad for his sins, if everyone went to hell because he felt it was impossible for anyone to be innocent. Before death, he realizes he wasted his life away by waiting for death, and overcomes his fear of it as he is allowed to see his lover one last time before he passes on.
Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys: This album is about a group entitled "The Fabulous Killjoys" This group consists of Party Poison (Gerard Way), Kobra Kid (Mikey Way), Fun Ghoul (Frank Iero), Jet Star (Ray Toro), and the Girl. They live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland run by an evil corporation called Better Living Industries. This company controls every aspect of people's lives, brainwashing them through pills and headphones. Higher-ups that work for the company are called Scarecrows, and underneath them are Draculoids. Draculoids are people who had the mask forcibly placed on them, which fully controls a person and makes them a completely cooperative worker. These employees are sent out into the desert outside of the city, where the Fabulous Killjoys and other rebels like them reside. They hunt down these people who have escaped the clutches of the city and either Exterminate them or turn them into Draculoids. The Killjoys are a main target, as the Girl subconsciously has the ability to take down the city (no spoilers on how though, in case you ever want to read the comics lol). I highly recommend watching the music videos if you haven't, as they're super awesome!
