i’ve recently gotten into zzz thinking it’s just some chill, slice-of-life game wherein you run a video store and occasionally go into hollows with your sibling, but i was not prepared on how much belle and wise’s desperation to prove that their former teacher and foster mother was innocent would break my heart
because during the new year’s event where astra yao asked them about their future plans and they could not answer because they had never planned a future past their goal just… made me sob
this also implies that they’ve prepared themselves for any possibility that could happen as they try to clear carole arna’s name, including the possibility of losing each other… even though deep down, they’re still scared that that might happen someday…
i have such a big soft spot for the phaethon siblings so much i’m gonna cry

My personal hc is that Serval, Gepard and Lynx all have cat-like tendencies (seeing as they’re all named after cats). So the image of Nat cuddling and caressing Serval the way you do with a cat while she lovingly melts into it when they find time to be together will also be upon ye because I say so.

i genuinely love the idea of servasha (or whatever their shipname is) because serval is this confident scientist/rockstar/mechanic who knows people admire her for her many talents to the point she's super chill with stalkers (and would sometimes take advantage of it, like what she did with dunn in the main story ahsjsndja)
but with natasha? i can see her getting super shy yet clingy whenever she's around her is an image i'll never stop imagining
(also to add on to the landau siblings acting like cats hc, i actually deem it as canon too bcs lynx literally knows how to hunt for wild food while gepard gets shy and flustered whenever he shows affection to his sisters/is worried about his sisters, kinda like how my tabby cats act ahdjajaba)

God I know I’ve been on a real Dan Heng kick lately but Serval Landau is one of the characters of all time, she’s an oldest daughter, she was the sibling who yelled back at their dad, she’s a nuclear physicist with a PhD, after her life’s research got shut down by the corrupt government she became a rockstar and she’s still vibing in her like 30s or 40s with dyed hair and a cool fashion sense and a great relationship with her siblings
Shit dude yall ever think abt how Cocolia’s battle theme is rock because I do.
She and Serval back then didn’t just shared their love for rock music, they shared hope, hope that there is still something to love and save in this dying world. That they can save it by their own hands, by their own will. They had hope and fighting spirit and love.
And then Cocolia threw it all away for her own “greater good”.
But why the rock theme then? Why linger on something you left behind? Does a part of her still regrets it? Still miss what they used to have? Miss Cocolia before she became the Madame Guardian?
Perhaps this is her final send off, perhaps this is her final goodbye, her last words to a friend who will never get to hear it.
Perhaps it is a way to let us, the player, knows that she still held that hope somewhat, but it is too late now, and the divine never backs down until they are given what they wanted.
