Who the HELL was that guy anyway?      ❛ Well, this clearly isn’t the Earth, dude. ❜    His condition as a man from TERRA  wasn’t hard to guess, however, what truly surprises the Star-Lord is the fact that this man seems LOST.     ❛ Well----- I don’t know Stark... I know about him. And yes, I was born there... my mother was from Earth, too. It’s kind of a LONG story, not a thing I’d like to discuss with someone I just met. ❜

              ❛ Dude... are you alright? ❜       Here, the one questioning himself if he’s ALRIGHT is the Guardian. Too much booze, perhaps? Moments before, there was a HUGE green creature who came out of a strange, maybe even RUSTIC ship, destroying everything on his sight... and now, as if it’s some kind of TRICK... a man lies on the ground, where the green creature is supposed to be... With a frown and eyes full of CONFUSION, he decides to approach him  ( a gun in his pocket, just in case ). 

        ...particularly, pushing Gamora away. Not now, not when he’s got her to admit about the UNSPOKEN thing between them. He wants to tell her he needs her by his side. He needs her comforting him, telling him everything will be alright... but no, PUSHING this situation would just screw things up. He doesn’t want that. The corners of his mouth are lifted into a soft smile, as he feels her gentle touch.  He’s happy with what he’s got... for now.    ❛ I could ALWAYS use some company. ❜

            He leaves the fork on the table as soon as his mother SPEAKS, a glimpse of excitement in the boy’s eyes.     ❛ I’m choosing Dirty Dancing because I know you’d like that one. You’re coming with us, right? ❜    Since his father was NONEXISTENT for him, his mother and grandfather are all he has. And his mother... she’s the one Peter trusts the most. And he, at his short age, knows that trust is RECIPROCATED... so, maybe it’s time to ask the one thing the boy’s been craving to know since he’s got QUESTIONED by his friends for the first time, a few years ago... something more than the short explanation his mother would give to him, about his father being a TRAVELER of some kind... a sailor bringing gifts from far away, as the song says.    ❛ Mom--------- my father... what was he like? ❜
