So I have recently learned that it is entirely possible for Fae to have a second mate. So, if Sam really was Aelin’s before he was brutally murdered, then Rowan isn’t the only one who is getting the second chance at true love.

But what concerns me is the whole not-knowing-if-Aelin-is-immortal-or-not. There’s no way in Hellas’ realm that Aelin would be okay with Rowan killing himself so that he could follow her in death. She’d be pretty damn pissed at him for just thinking about it, and she’d make his afterlife a living hell.
