I am having such an incredibly stressful time lately.

The last month and a half at work have been the hardest time I've ever had in this department and it just keeps getting worse. We've had multiple people out on medical leave and PTO, one person left the department, and another person quit.

On top of that, I have three different appointments after work this week, and a cake order and cookie order for Saturday.

Last night, I had to leave for the doctor's office right after work. We all share one vehicle right now, and my mom forgot to pick me up, so I was 15 minutes behind schedule already. I got home, did what I needed to and ran out the door. Before I left, I asked my mom and 25-year-old sister if they could just please figure out dinner while I was at the doctor and they agreed. Mind you, my doctor is a half hour away from my house and almost always keeps me waiting, so I was at the doctor's and driving for probably two hours.

At the doctor's office, I got multiple texts from both of them complaining about the other, and it just adds to my stress level to be the middle man. When I got home, there was no dinner and both of them suggested ordering take out at that point - something that is expensive and we would need to wait an additional half hour at least for. I still had to work on my orders for the week, and was already exhausted.

I lost my temper and yelled at them about the fact that two grown adults couldn't figure out something as simple as dinner and just take one thing off my list for me. Now this morning, I feel guilty and bad for having yelled even though I know that they don't care about having let me down.
