first attempt at art related to Ch. 1 of this fic. Sadly I had to switch Edward's role in the story. I finally accepted he just doesn't fit the role in the story way I wanted him to. Even his expression doesn't feel very Edward-like, but hey, we're learning! Which makes this scene officially obsolete, but here's the attempt, if anybody cares.

This is the first time he’s being told, and probably the first time he’s even entertaining the notion, that he’s capable of being loved for who he is and not just what he does. That he has inherent worth simply because he exists. That just… for how heavy this whole episode was, that hit me the hardest, I think.
