Oliver lived in Cardiff, Wales with his siblings in a small apartment. Four brothers and a sister. Ophelia, Oscar, Omar, Orion, and Odin. Oliver is the youngest. Oliver got along with all his brothers, but he had a close relationship with Ophelia the most. Maybe because she was the eldest, always looking after him. Oliver had two moms, but they died in WW1. Ophelia, Oscar, and Omar are in their 30s and now Oliver’s legal guardians; also Orion and Odin’s guardians. Oliver went to Cardiff University to study creative writing. I feel like Oliver would be good at writing books or screenplays. Oliver really loves stories and movies. In hope, he wants to write a movie of his own one day or write a book about it. He did have a hard time making friends at his college though. While Oliver was in school his siblings all had jobs. His brothers were either mechanics or electricians and his sister was a waitress. Everything was fine, until tragedy struck. When WW2 happened, Oliver’s siblings were killed (repurposed). Oliver was alone after the war. He dropped out of his college and started focusing on his finances for the apartment and put food on the table for himself. Later on Oliver became a train driver on The Great Western Railway. Oliver had a wonderful boss, always being good and helping Oliver at all times. Oliver was doing so well with his new job he was gifted with his very own assistant, Toad. Toad worked on the Great Western for a long time, but was never respected by the members and workers. Oliver took Toad under his wing and respected Toad for who he is. Oliver and Toad became best friends working on the Great Western together. One day, Oliver’s boss was retiring and the new boss was not happy with Oliver on the railway. Oliver’s new boss was all about being in the new and trendy things, so he sent Oliver to his death even though Oliver hasn’t done anything wrong. Toad got involved too. The great story of Oliver and Toad escaping from death (scrap) began after. Oliver and Toad hid from diesels, come across nice signal men to hide them, waking up early, going to sleep late, and more tragic events. They were in survival mode 24/7. Then they got caught and were taken to Barrow. When the two were in Barrow, Oliver was assaulted by a gang of diesels a few nights before his death. It was storming that night. The gang beat him up, kicked him, threw him into concrete walls, and pushed him into muddy rain puddles. Toad was hiding behind a wall because Oliver told him not to come out for the sake of him not getting beaten up. When the diesels went away, Toad immediately went to Oliver to comfort him. On the night when the two were about to be killed (scrapped), Oliver and Toad were tied up to their vehicles waiting for the inevitable. Until they heard somebody, chuffing. It was someone driving a steam engine. It was Douglas. Oliver did what he could to get his attention, until Douglas finally heard him. Douglas helped them escape. On the way to Sodor, Oliver told Douglas everything. He even developed feelings for Douglas for saving him. Oliver and Toad were saved and now live on Sodor. Oliver doesn’t like fireworks. Oliver listens to music not just for enjoyment, but for therapy too. Oliver loves to wear hats in his casual wear. Toad has his very own blog and tells the internet about his adventures, friends, situations, and basically his life. Toad likes to tell stories too. I can see a Toad as a teacher as a side job.
