First date! Dino took forever to ask you out actually, he saw you all the time at work. While you didn't technically work in the same department, he did see you in passing all the time and made light conversations with you. Brief good mornings over the coffee machine, mid-day "how are you's?" during lunchtime in the break room, and sometimes there would be small conversations in passing in the hallways.

First date! Dino was a stuttering mess when he did finally ask you out, it took you by surprise you definitely weren't expecting Lee Chan from Accounting to ask you out, but you've always secretly hoped he would. It was cute to see him stumbling over his words and that cute blush taking over his cheeks. Absolutely darling, you think to yourself watching him finish the question shooting you a dimpled grin.

"Yeah I'd love to Chan" your response must also surprise him because his head shoots up to look at you with wide, sparkling eyes accompanied by the biggest smile you think you've ever seen in your life.

"Really?!?" his voice cracking at first, Dino then clears his throat trying (and failing) to be nonchalant now. "I mean, awesome that would be great. I could pick you up next Saturday afternoon?" He dares to glance over at you, seeing that you're nodding and equally as excited as he is it makes his shoulders relax and his stomach unknot just a bit.

First date! Dino didn't realize that day when he asked you out and settled for Saturday afternoon, that he had also planned to make a trip back home that same day to see his family for the weekend, he double booked his plans. He panic paced his apartment the day before mulling over the options, cancelling certainly wasn't one- not when he had finally gotten the nerve to ask you out. Dino also knew he couldn't cancel on his family, this was a rare weekend he got off work, and he had already promised his halmeoni a visit while he was there too, he had to get creative.

First date! Dino had already made his decision on what to do when he pulled up to your place on Saturday, he was going to take you with him to his hometown and he hoped it wouldn't backfire massively. "So, what is the plan for today?" You ask while sliding into the passenger seat of the car, Dino grips the steering wheel nervously before answering, hoping you would be okay with the plan and not run away thinking he was insane for even suggesting it.

"Ah, so I accidentally overbooked my day, and I was supposed to go home to see my family…" he pauses giving you a sidelong look, you haven't tried to leave the car or end the date yet so he takes that as a sign to keep explaining. "And I was thinking that maybe, if you were okay with it, I could just take you along with me?" Dino rushes out the final sentence like ripping off a bandage, fully prepared for you to say no, or offer to reschedule or even call him nuts and never hear from you again because let's be honest; who suggests meeting family as a first date?

"Oh! That actually sounds really fun Chan, I'd love to go along" you agree easily, reaching over to buckle yourself into the seat giving Dino a bright smile of reassurance.

First date! Dino should have really thought this idea of bringing you back to his hometown through more. As soon as you two stepped through the door his mom was already fussing over you, "oh Channie look at her! She is just so beautiful, and you brought her home? That's a big step for our Channie you know!" His mother cooed while pinching his cheeks and fawning over you, and you couldn't help but notice and be endeared by the cutest blush starting to cover his ears and cheeks.

First date! Dino swats his mother's hands away gently, then rubs his cheeks like he can erase the blush appearing there. He's trying so hard to play it off in front of you "ah Mom, I've brought girls over before (he hasn't) this isn't big news" he guides you through the house to his old room, where he's hoping you can get a quiet few moments alone with you.

First date! Dino watches from his bed as you wander around his old room, looking at all the old photos of him, trophies he's earned and certificates won. Your fingers lightly brushing over everything smiling a little at his displayed memories, "debate team captain hm, and you did baseball" you nod towards his medals and trophies with a raised eyebrow "I'm impressed Chan."

Dino rubs the back of his neck and chuckles walking up to where you stand, that blush turning his ears pink as you discover his previous accomplishments. "Oh, those…yeah they were just some things my Mom wanted me to do in school, it's no big deal" he picks up the baseball trophy as he speaks looking it over with a dismissive demeanor, trying to be cool about it but he ends up fumbling it to the ground cursing his butter fingers under his breath.

First date! Dino absolutely melts as he hears your laugh watching him drop the trophy, he looks up at you through his lashes to see your smile nearly reaching your eyes as you giggle. His heart is pounding in his ears so hard he nearly misses his Mom calling out for him to come help her and the neighborhood ajumma's make kimchi in the kitchen.

First date! Dino really didn't think bringing you here would be this big of a deal but his halmeoni and her friends were certainly making it so hard to impress you. It started out innocent enough, when you two first came into the kitchen, one of the ajumma's nearly squealed with delight seeing him. "Oh look at you Channie! You've grown up so much!" She reaches over to pinch his biceps as she talks, "and so strong now too look at you! Remember when you could hardly lift this bowl off the floor for us, I bet you could now!" The ladies erupt in giggles making Dino want to sink into the floor in embarrassment.

First date! Dino can literally feel your eyes on him as the older women surround and fawn over him, he can hear your stifled giggles as he tries to shake the women off. "Okay, okay lets make kimchi yeah? That's why I came here to help" he shoots you a lopsided smile as you both sit down on the floor across the stainless steel bowl from each other, he's hoping working on the kimchi will change the subject.

First date! Dino could not possibly blush any harder than he is right now when the attention turned to you instead, his Halmeoni bringing up all the stories of his childhood and of course it's complete with photos. "Did I show you the one of his first school play in the third grade?? He played a flower, and poor Channie he even forgot the one line he had to say!" His grandmother begins to pull up the photos on her phone to show a very interested you, "see right here he was a daisy…"

First date! Dino clears his throat loudly and quickly interrupting his grandmother before any photo evidence can be shown and ruin his chances with you, "okay I think we've pretty much finished with the kimchi! Wanna go take a walk with me y/n?" He extends a hand out to you to help you up off the floor, his dimpled smile bright and inviting as you take his hand lacing your fingers together easily.

First date! Dino leads you through the backyard showing you the play set he used to play on all the time as a kid, then he led you through the hole in the fence that he used to sneak out of in high school to go meet up with friends at the local arcades because Dino of course, didn't go to parties when he was a teenager.

Eventually the gravel trail led to a forest edge, you pause and Dino looks over his shoulder and tugs your hand slightly "trust me?" You nod and move your feet easily keeping pace with him through the brush and trees admiring the scenery surrounding you two as you walk. You two make small idle talk, about his life growing up here, what his favorite things to do were and honestly you don't think you've ever heard Chan open up this much to you before. It's sweet to see how brightly he shines when he speaks about his family and friends, how sparkling his eyes get when he excitedly tells you about a memory that happened at a nearby park or tree that he points to, you're absolutely enamored by him.

First date! Dino eventually leads you both to a little run down and abandoned boat dock he helps lead you, carefully avoiding to rotted wood planks before slipping his shoes off and sitting down on the edge and dipping his toes in the lake. You follow his lead and let your feet skim the cool water too, "thank you for coming with me today, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did" Dino nudges your shoulder giving you a sideways glance.

"I did! I promise, it was really a lot of fun seeing where you grew up" you shoot him a sincere and warm smile nudging him back, and then resting your head on his shoulder. "I'd like to hang out again sometime if you'd like" you suggest turning your head just slightly to look up at him, and the way the setting sun catches his face is jaw dropping, has he always been this handsome?

First date! Dino holds his breath when your head rests on his shoulder and when he looks down to answer you and sees that your plush pouty lips are just a breath away from his, silently begging to be kissed. Well he couldn't resist closing the distance, and getting his very first kiss right there on the dock with the prettiest girl he knows. When he pulls back and catches his breath he's able to rasp out "yeah, let's do this again" his cheeks are an obvious red now and not just because of the sunset.

First date! Jeonghan is exhausted after work, and normally, he would head straight home and boot up his computer to play some League of Legends with his friends Wonwoo and Seungcheol, but tonight, he decides the billiards hall sounds a lot more appealing than a night alone at home on a Friday.

First date! Jeonghan walks into his favorite billiards hall, and it's somewhat crowded, like he expected it would be. Shrugging off the anxiety of the crowd, he wanders to the bar, ordering a whisky and sits down, scoping out someone to possibly pair up with to play a quick game.

First date! Jeonghan wasn't expecting you to slide up next to him and order a whisky on the rocks as well. You're all smiles as you apologize for bumping his arm after grabbing your glass, and he eyes you subtly while giving a quick nod back when you sit down. "Do you play?" He asks you, leaning over as he nods to the pool tables across the bar, his smile warm and friendly.

"Oh, uh, a little, I've played once or twice," you reply, "did you want to play a quick game?" You offer, scooting your bar stool back, getting ready to move to an open table.

First date! Jeonghan follows your lead and heads to the nearest open pool table, setting up the game, letting you break first, and honestly, even though he really wants to show off for you, he's holding back on all his shots just because he wants you to win the game.

When the last ball falls into the pocket, you're innocent as ever. First date! Jeonghan celebrates your win with you, like he didn't hand it to you on a silver platter, displaying a big grin on his face as you jump and hug him excitedly. He easily hides his nerves and stuffs his shaking hands in his pocket as he asks you for your number right after, saying you two should hang out again sometime.

"Absolutely," you reply with ease, typing your number into his phone, handing it back to him with a bright smile. "This was so much fun, Jeonghan, I'd love to do it again."

First date! Jeonghan should have checked his calendar when he was planning his date with you. Because if he did, then he would have realized that the Saturday that he scheduled your movie night was also the same as his bi-weekly pickup basketball game with his friends.

First date! Jeonghan desperately tried to figure out how to bail on practice, or a workaround to a movie date in the afternoon with you instead. But nothing seemed to be plausible for either of you. He sighs a heavy sigh and accepts that the new plan is hopefully taking you to practice with him.

First date! Jeonghan would be lying to himself if he didn't admit that there was a knot in his stomach as he pulled up to your apartment to pick you up for the date. He could barely hide his bashful smile as he informed you that your date night would be spent at his basketball practice. "I promise we can have some take-out afterwards, just us, okay?" He shoots you a hopeful smile, nervous he'd blown his chance with you.

First date! Jeonghan's shoulders relax almost immediately when you reply brightly with a quick, "Sure! That sounds like fun!" An undeniable sense of relief washes over him as you settle into the passenger seat, looking totally happy to spend the evening around his friends at the basketball courts.
