i mostly feel annoyed at how people are like “ew gabistat is so gross i’m skipping all their scenes” bc like yes, their scenes ARE gross but you’re skipping over the things that made lestat lestat. how are you going to turn around and fault him for the shit he does but when he explains the horrific abuse he endured, you’re too icked out by incest to pay attention that he’s telling you he is a victim! also i need ppl to stop acting like incest is this overt taboo that should never even be depicted. most csa survivors are victims of incest. they are not disgusting bc of what was done to them?
