I’ve been looking back on some of my old Undertale fan comics and I came across the pages for one I kinda abandoned called “The Cooking Contest”
Basic plot line was- Papyrus enters a cooking contest, but creates something horrible and his friends are too scared to tell him just how bad it is. It involved well intentioned chaos that missed the mark, and was meant to end with some valuable life lessons. I never finished it, but it had a pretty decent following.
I’m thinking about re-doing (and actually finishing) it. I’ve gotten a whole lot better at finishing projects since then.
There’s definitely things I’d change if I re-did it, but it had potential.
Anyway, I’m curious to see what you think:

It’s already on Tapas, but I see a lot more fan content on Webtoons, so I figure it can’t hurt.
This is a project I always find myself coming back to, and I do want to finish it eventually. There’s a lot of lore to cover!

what’s the falling star au?
It’s an Extended universe I made back in 2016-2017ish? It’s a post pacifist storyline where the monsters have made it to the surface and are learning that it wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
The story mainly focuses on Mettaton and how he’s fallen from stardom and is finding it very difficult as a result. (Hence the name: FallingStar)
It’s a very Papyton Heavy story. Be warned.

Losing his fame has caused Mettaton to lose his sense of purpose. He’s not sure where he belongs, or if he has any real talent, or if anyone actually likes him for himself.
His soul is also cracked as a result of his depression and anxiety.
Thankfully he has Papyrus, Alphys, Blooky, and the rest of the crew to help him out.
Every thousand years, I emerge from the void to offer the very gay robot and skeleton.

It’s been a while!
I think it’s time for an explanation, Esteemed Question askers.
What’s happened to the comics? Are we still alive? Are we updating this blog anymore?
Let me start from the beginning. @bigfanofpuns and I (@purplezombietigress) started our own webcomic series back in January called “Stars in Roses” (17+) which updates on Tapas and Webtoons on a semi-regular schedule. I had some extra time from work, and the plan was to update Stars in Roses once a week, while trying to update this blog a little more as well. And then....Covid-19 took the world by storm! Due to so many places closing down, my employer gave me a few different job assignments to avoid a layoff (Which I am extremely grateful for!) Though, this didn’t leave a whole lot of extra time on my end to get anything done. That, as well as the fact I’ve had some pretty terrible experiences with the Undertale fandom this last year and a half; I have been left feeling unmotivated to continue Ask-PapyandMetta for the moment. (or “Catch a Falling Star” as I’ve named it on Tapas.) I’ve had problems with a certain stalker and harasser, My art continues to be stolen and reposted WITHOUT my permission and it’s left me wondering why I make these comics and art if they are going to be the cause of so much grief I don’t need. I WOULD like to continue this blog and comic at some point, but I can’t tell you when that will be! I think I need a break for a while. So for now, the blog will update on a “When/if I can get the time and motivation to do so” basis. I don’t want to abandon it completely. Undertale and Papyton especially- hold a very dear place in my heart, and I don’t think that will ever change. I know you’ve all been waiting a long time, and I am very sorry.
For now though, Seabun and I would like to focus on Stars in Roses, and if you’d like to keep following my art, I’ll try to keep posting on @morghiesart as well as on Instagram (@ purplezombietigress) and twitter (@ PZTigress) Thank you so much for your support! Happy 5th Birthday, Undertale! I just finished watching the concert and it has given me FEELINGS!!!!! Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the last few years. Undertale will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s a game that helped me out of a REALLY tough spot in life, gave me back my creative spark, and allowed me to meet so many new people! Some of these people are still some of my very best friends! I can honestly say I would not be making art or creating comics right now if not for this game.
