I feel like Adam's feelings for Ronan are underexplained in the books. It literally only happens in the fourth book of "The Raven Circle" and then in the Ronan trilogy. How do you feel about Adam being in love with Blue, and Ronan considering a relationship with Gansey? Don't you think Adam's feelings for Ronan aren't fully explored? Do you think his feelings for Blue faded quickly?

I had to reread your questions a couple of times because I disagree with so many points, sorry to say this 😭

- Adam took notice of Ronan’s feeling at the end of The Dream Thieves, he got to know Ronan better all the way through Blue Lily (“Adam was beginning to realize that he hadn’t known Ronan at all. Or rather, he had known part of him and assumed it was all of him.”), then fell in love with Ronan in Raven King. It was a gradual process and I think the books portrayed this beautifully. So no, I don’t think it only happens in the last book and I don’t think it wasn’t explored. I wouldn’t be this into them if that was the case.

- “Adam being in love with Blue”, i think they were barely in a romantic relationship. Adam had a crush, they dated, it wasn’t working out and they became friends. It faded quickly because it was only a crush 😅

- “Ronan considering a relationship with Gansey” is a shocking statement if you mean it in a romantic sense 😭 I’m curious what made you think that was implied in the books? Ronan thinks Gansey is attractive and that’s it. It would be more understandable to say he was into Kavinsky at one point.

People write about Ronan and Adam’s feeling for other people because they DO have all sorts of feeling for other characters and these dynamics are fun to explore further in fandom space whether romantic or platonic. That’s one of TRC’s selling point. Ronan and Adam’s loveline is the most prominent but not the center of these books.
