I always like to see the fandom's controversial opinions and the discussions it starts so I started this blog, as my main was getting cluttered!

I think reading it is good to properly understand it's issues

I understand why people hate him as a concept and not like what he represents with Ivypool but the amount of times I seen people say he ruined Ivypool's character because she got nudged to the side and had kits is absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know how to tell y'all this but Ivypool is still very much so Ivypool. Where is her character ruined exactly?

Yeah it's strange, I've been seeing a lot of Fernsong hate recently and I just don't get why.....Ivypool wasn't toned down as much as people say, she just grew up and naturally lost a bit of her "aggressiveness"

Yeah unfortunately. I get a lot of asks from kids just looking for a fight, I've been in the fandom long enough that I can tell who is just being a prick and who is genuinely asking about stuff. The most common stuff I get is like Brambleclaw Squirrelstar drama and Thistleclaw pedo rants....also role-playing is common for me weirdly enough

Meanwhile, in A Vision of Shadows, no one was safe. I lost count of how many cats died in the arc.

Yeah AVoS is brutal, main reason I like it besides Darktail's character arc lol

ASC is a good example of "modern" warrior cats, in that they're afraid to really go for the violence. The most we get is lil baby Frostpaw slitting Splashtail's heels, which was epic!! I guess we got Curlfeather's dark forest appearance which was also cool.

Like, let them both drown each other in the waters within the dark forest.

Why let Needletail and Violetshine kill him? Let Onestar and Darktail face off again!

Yeah! I've kinda read into it as Onestar rejecting him again and it's just sad man! Like he says "oh my father I lived long enough among warriors to earn my place here, don't you think?"

There's still a part of him that's a little kit who wants his father's validation after he's somewhat excepted into Clan culture, but his father the cause of all his pain still rejects him,it's so fucking sad, he is baited with being with cats he loves in the afterlife but that's taken away and Onestar gets into StarClan and Darktail is greeted with Mapleshade who is literally the opposite of Smoke.in my head him not being too involved in TBC comes from him having paranoia that Ashfur might be lying like Onestar did.

I'd have definitely liked Darktail to finally finish Shitstar off, he wouldn't get to go to StarClan after being double dead, Darktail finally won. I'd have loved that

I personally think so. I mean, he literally named the Mistslime and Graysludge as a punishment for what Curlfeather did so I truly do think he was treating badly.

Tbh I don't think about Splashtail much, he's not a compelling character to me

Clear Sky after his redemption arc: He stopped killing but remained a huge asshole.

And I love him for it.
