Hiya!! My name is Cas! You may also call me shrimp if you like! I don't mind :3
I love doing art and animating, and occasionally (when I have the motivation) I like to write! (granted it takes me roughly 7 thousand years to finish literally anything), whenever i post stuff its prolly gon' be some art/fanart, wip animations, or me announcing i have finally finished that 2 year old fanfic draft (yeah like thats gonna happen)
I've got OCD & AuDHD, so if I start rambling about some thing (it will probably be minecraft story mode btw) uhhhhh I'm really sorry, but It will happen again. yeah sorry i dont make the rules.
I also have a itty bitty kitty named Merlin, he jus a little baby, a small fry. a little dude. i love him so much.
some of the things im into: MCSM, FNAF, Pokemon, Teen Titans (specifically the 2003 animated series), Animation VS Minecraft, DBH, Phineas & Ferb, and Gravity Falls (yeah not beating the cringe allegations with this list)

Had a lot of fun with this one! I was also able to get the timelapse function to work on Krita again (for the most part- still had to deal with some crashes but such is life) This was my second time ever doing a multi-plane camera effect and playing around with the animation curves feature (to which I still don't entirely know how to use) in Krita.
Anyways, lemme know your thoughts and any tips to help me improve! :D

(unfortunately no timelapse because for whatever reason Krita has decided to give me a new bug that causes the canvas to crash and perpetually load the message "waiting for image operation to complete" whenever the recorder docker is on, effectively preventing me progressing π)
A WIP for my first Art Fight attack of the year! Character belongs to caramelbunnycatlover on Art Fight!
This is just a first pass so I still gotta fix up the animation of the fabric and some consistency problems. Also realized I messed up the framing so I'll have to fix that as well, but overall, I'm having a lot of fun with this so far! :D

I HAVE ARISEN FROM THE DEAD!! +UPDATE AND ANNOUNCEMENT
(warning that this is kinda a lengthy post)
Hiiiii everyone, sorry for kinda dropping off the face of the earth for a hot minute it was wayyy NOT my intention to be inactive for this long. I fully intended to post an update for that AU I mentioned not too long ago for MCSM S2 about a month after my 10 year anniversary art post (which holy crap you guys are insane that post had so many likes and reblogs that my brain stopped working).
Unfortunately, my mental health took a really bad turn and made it hard to function, which led to me avoiding opening social media altogether during that time (which was a lot longer than I thought it'd be). Now I'm not going to go into anymore detail than that because that's all very personal to me and I'd really rather not share my personal business with a bunch of strangers on the internet.
Important thing is: I'm back! I'm not a hundred percent all good, and don't get me wrong my anxiety is still an incredibly overwhelming factor, but I'm in a much better headspace to actually push past some of that anxiety and start posting again. Yippee!
As for what comes next and my current plans at the moment, there are a couple of things:
1.) I've joined Art Fight!
This will be my second year participating in the annual event! It was so much fun last year and actually really boosted my drawing skills, so I'm definitely excited to participate this year! This year I'm on Team Mystery, this means that for this month I'll be posting about my attacks and process (if krita will allow me to record timelapses without bricking the canvas), and also encouraging anyone who's interested to join Art Fight as well (and maybe send me some attacks too? π) I'll be doing animated attacks this year and trying to revenge everyone who attacks me.

(I actually had intended on making this post before the event started, but my profile on Art Fight was severely out of date and needed some extra time to get everything set up since I was being silly and procrastinated a little too much, but better late than never!) I'll (probably) post a WIP of my first attack soon, so look out for that!
2.) About that AU I mentioned.
While I can't reveal what it's about just yet, I can give you an idea of what to look out for. The AU I've been working on since around 2024 is going to be called "Spectator" to which you'll have to guess how that ties into the story and whatnot yourself, but that's the only breadcrumb I can give you for now.
As for when it will actually be revealed, stay tuned because it will likely be sometime later this month (which would be earlier if it wasn't for ArtFight keeping me so busy) and if not this month (because, again, Artfight) then it will definitely be within the first week of next month. I know waiting sucks, but I really want to take the time to make this AU worth it and enjoyable for everyone- I take a lot of pride in the work I do, so I want it to be the absolute best it can be! I'm really excited to show you all the idea I've been working on and hope you all enjoy it as much as I have while making it! :)

Lastly, I'd like to graciously thank everyone who reblogged and liked my MCSM 10 year anniversary art I posted, It means so much to me that people enjoy the things I've spent countless hours working on and I never could've ever dreamed it would've gotten so much positive reception! I know that in comparison to people with large follower counts and such that reaching 800+ likes isn't really all that much, but to me that number is beyond wild! You're telling me eight HUNDRED people saw and liked my work?!! Absolutely insane! And I might very well repeat this sentiment over and over again for every post I make, but I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to leave comments and positive notes, so thank you all so much!! You guys are awesome sauce :D
Alrighty, well I think I've finished my yapping for now 'cause I really gotta get back to working on my AF attacks.
