xander had gone on a hike to think about what his next move in town would be. the current case he was on with the daybreak alpha was stressing him out. the sound of the soft wind and dirt beneath his feet was calming. when he heard the other voice, he nearly —- “I nearly shit myself. what the hell is wrong with you.” he coughed loudly, kneeling over. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know this was some private —-” he paused, and looked at the woman, recognizing her slightly, “property.”

she didn’t mean to laugh —- really. maybe he was just that funny —- or maybe the alcohol had took its course and caused her cold icy exterior to soften. “well thank God you didn’t —- saved us both some discomfort there.” her face turned back to the view, her lips meeting the tip of the flask as the liquid burned its way down her throat once more. “i simply thought it was implied. then again —- it has been awhile since my last visit here.”

          she pauses, gaze shifting downward to look at offered flask. a beat passes before johanna sits down beside the woman and nods, taking the drink and allowing a swig of the alcohol to burn its way down her throat. tattooes fingers offer it back over with a quiet “thanks,” as she tilts head to look up at the sky. “nice spot, huh?”

as sweet as she made herself out to be in the face of strangers, the role could only stretch so far before her true nature settled in. ill manners in particular caused her to shift from victim to predator mode, but on this particular night, she had a better grasp on control. still in her work uniform from the café, she stepped closer, not bothering to look at the other. a smile settled onto her features, though it was difficult to tell if it was out of kindness or spite; she had a way of settling right into the middle. “ i came here for the view, not for you, ” she replied simply.

a roll of the eyes as she exhaled. “ i suppose thats fair. ” cassia brought the flask to her lips against, letting the familiar liquid coat her throat and numb her feelings —- as it always does. “ it’s the best view around. ”

‘ unless i’m mistaken, which is highly unlikely, this area belongs to the city. which would mean it doesn’t to you. this also isn’t much a secluded area so what made you believe visitors wouldn’t stumble upon it anyway? how about next time, choose a more appropriate area. if you want to be alone, choose a room..or a closet. ’ the obvious annoyance very visible on her features, darker colored hues caught the eyes of the other, frame leaning until being planted against the nearest object; a tree.

          “in a shocking turn of events, the world does not, in fact, revolve around you.” there’s no real bite to the words, just weariness at finding this spot occupied. johanna doesn’t sit down, merely stands still and looks out over the abyss of air beneath the cliffs edge. “i didn’t realize other people came up here, was just looking for someplace quiet.” and alone, but that’s not important. she hefts heavy book under her arm – she had planned on doing some research up here in the quiet space but it seems she still has shit luck.

“Cassia to the rescue.” Jonas mocked rolling his eyes, her face being the last face he wanted to see in that moment. “They’re not thinking anything wrong. I killed him. I would’ve gladly killed that wolf too and anyone else in this room that got in my way.” He partially lied, but did it convincingly. He liked it better when she saw the worst parts of him. The evil vampire she turned down over one thousand years ago, it made it easier to face the old memories he fought whenever their paths crossed. “What are you doing here? Besides missing me.”

Cassia to the rescue —- clearly five hundred years apart did nothing to his heart. Hell, Janos didn’t even need to turn off his emotions anymore —- as far as Cassia could tell he no longer even had them. “ I —- ” She was annoyed. Missing him? Had five hundred years really caused him to forget everything he had done? “ Please tell me you’re joking Janos and that you didn’t really kill that wolf. ”

They can be found at their job as a DRUG DEALER. Perhaps, Briar Creek, is in for another massacre? With them being ON THEIR OWN, it’s only a matter of time before blood is shed.

» Her life before being turned was pretty normal. She was happy. She was in love. She had it all. Being cursed with eternal life and blood lust? Not on her bucket list. Not only was being turned not part of her plan ━ not what she wanted. The fact that it was the man she loved who did it? Well that just made matters even worse. That and throwing in the fact that almost immediately after he turned her ━ he left her. It all gave Cassia every reason to become one of the most reckless, destructive and blood thirsty vampire’s to date. But that never happened. 

» Cassia had watched her sire change and transform into this monster ━ barely leaving behind a shadow of the man she loved. She knew that if she was going to live an eternity she couldn’t do it the way he planned too. Instead she focused all that anger into him, into hating him ━ and into partnering with the witches.

» Cassia never felt any one way about the other species. For decades she held a spot in her heart for humans  ━ because for decades she longed to be one again. 

» Cassia today is not at all like human Cassia. She has settled with the life she now leads but the many life’s she has lead have lead her to a place that... is self-destructive, cold, and isolated. She doesn’t want to let anyone too close and she is far too selfish to stop herself from enjoying all the... um... pleasures of life.

» She used to hate admitting to any of the powers she had. But now she loves and embraces them. 

» Honestly you guys she is kind of all over the place. She does her best to keep up the act. To be as cold, distant and heartless as possible and it honestly comes fairly easy to her now ━ but there are those instances when someone or something creeps into her old dead heart and gets it pumping for a second or two.

» Cassia has literally not been in love since her last human connection ━ you know the one that turned her and left? But she prides herself on her ability to spenda night with someone ━ though to be honest she never actually spends the night. She’s always sure to be gone by morning ━ another precaution to make sure whoever is getting to entertain her for the time doesn’t do anything crazy like gain feelings for her.

» She doesn’t have family ━ it was really just her until Jonas came along. Then it was them. Until it was just her all over again.

» Oh very important !! She is your resident drug dealer :) Some come get your goodies ;) ━ lol. She only smokes and drinks. A lot. But she’s never dared to do more ━ her mother was an addict and because of her inability to give up those addictions Cassia was on her own at a very young age.
