Okay, I usually dislike when first player story games have the character you’re playing already set in stone with a name, backstory, and personality with no wiggle room.

HOWEVER. I think mouthwashing does a great job at this, as you’re unaware you are playing a horrible person, and it doesn't immediately affect how you play.

one reason i dislike how some of those games do things is because when right off the bat i know i’m playing a specific character, it affects how i play, as i try to stay in character and don’t really get to explore the game myself.

but when j*mmy’s character is slowly revealed throughout the game, as i quote slimecicle, “i don’t think i want to be playing this character anymore…” this makes this component of the game so much more interesting to me.
