For context, Wildhorizons made a post going over a simple scene in Wolf Hawks as sort of a defense for Martin for stooping down to levels just as low as Zach. And they vagueposted about my good friend, @novazentryx, which is counter productive to analytical posts to begin with if you want a discussion about something. (Really wish that post was still up as evidence and context to show what I'm talking about -_-) So I made this reblog:

(I've mentioned their Flight of the Dracos analysis bc it is simply contradictory to say that Martin didn't have any bad intentions, yet implied that Donita sexually assaulted Martin during Flight of the Dracos. It's a dumb double standard that is a wide issue in the fandom, but thats a conversation for another time.) I'll be honest, I could have made this post with a better tone in mind, but I was upset at not only the vagueposting, but the encouragement of comments basically calling out my friend directly on his analysis post.

(Do not harass the people shown in this screenshot, that's counterproductive and they aren't even the target) I was fully expecting a comment back, but what I wasn't expecting was a block. I'm saying this because I have seen not just one post from WildHorizons themselves about the situation, but from people who don't even have the full context behind what I meant assuming the worst.

To Wildhorizons, if you are somehow reading this. I apologize for the poor wording and tone in my original post, of course you are allowed to not forgive me, but just know my intentions were not foul. I was simply confused.

Also, I am fully unsure of who "They" and "These people" are. I'm 99% sure that I was the only one who made that comment. I highly doubt there were more people saying something, because if anyone else saw my post and agreed, I would have for sure gotten a notification for it

First of all, Eli never encouraged me to make that post. (In fact, based on what he was saying I'd argue he IMPLICITLY told me NOT to, but I did anyway) Second of all, I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO SAID ANYTHING. Don't drag him into this when he isn't even the big, mean, scary mastermind behind this situation. Be so fr.

Simply put, your vaguepost could have been a reblog to what he said in his original post (Yes, it is deleted, but reblogs of it exist) And if you want, my dms are open, if you're willing to unblock me that is.

And to everyone else reading this, this is the full context. I am not out to get WildHorizons over some show made for 7 year olds, I just wanted to comment not only on their reductive vagueposting, but contradictory and inconsistent character standards for everyone in the show.

Which..isn’t true at all, since it was only Five (the original person I’m reblogging this from now) that had reblogged, whom WildHorizon blocked anyways.

1: Apparently you cannot point out flaws within the Kratt Brothers without pissing literally everyone off and saying you’re wrong and that the brothers are innocent. Listen man, I love the Kratt brothers, I really do. Martin is my favorite character too. However, I made a post once about how The Crew, especially Martin, stooped lower than the villains in a certain episode, just to have a post made by a “popular” analyst essentially to debunk and say that Martin would never, and that also it’s a cartoon and the villain whines a lot anyway, so Martins actions truly had no effect anyway. It felt incredibly targeted and to be told I had bias over the villain character felt like a huge discredit to the post I had originally made. I plan to make a new post about this episode soon with proper evidence this time, especially throughout the season. Just because the villains are annoying as well doesn’t mean they “deserve” to be treated terribly. Not to mention, really odd how they say i’m biased yet they’re also biased???

2: Apparently, it’s so widely accepted that people just think Donita sexually assaulted Martin in Flight of the Draco. Which I believe is incredibly weird, dishonest to Donita’s character, and also misogynistic. Nowhere in the show does it actually state that Donita did anything, and also, Martin himself wrote the episode, he is NOT writing that shit.

3: Characters such as Dabio and even Rex are heavily infantilized. This is due to people not understanding their characters, nor actually trying to understand how smart these characters truly are despite their outward nativity or kindness. These are grown ass men.

4: I do not trust anyone who doesn’t like Aviva or Koki, or even Donita. I immediately assume they’re racist and misogynistic.

5: you’re allowed to hate a character but if it gets to a point where you outright pretend the character doesn’t exist and then proceed to make violent posts and comments about them WITHIN THE CHARACTERS TAG, do not post. it’s genuinely not that hard to avoid tags. tumblr can filter tags out. you can even block. if a character upsets you that much, maybe don’t interact with the fandom at all!
