to Aphrodite for the New Moon to set in motion love and sensuality

In luna nova,

ad Aphroditam,

Ego precor, divina puella,

Fove et allicie corda nostra,

Amorem et sensum expleto.

Sublimes caritatis potestas,

Spiritus ardens ex tuo igne surgat,

Through the gentle shadows

of the dark night,

And ignite the fire of desire.

Allow us to embrace senses and pleasure,

Let manifestations of love be born,

The emergence of sensuality and longing.

like ok fine, the joke is nobody speaks Latin in the modern day which is, not fully true but kinda funny anyway

he uses the Vatican flag to represent Latin which is, kind of justified but feels weird—I've seen a lot of people do it though

his pronunciation is dodgy as hell, and that's not me hating on Ecclesiastical pronunciation: I think he wants to say agis but it comes out as "egis" and with the stress in the wrong place

however the biggest problem is that he was trying to say agis in the first place

he says salve omnes, quid agis? which is straight up wrong Latin, as omnes is plural while salve and agis are singular

he ought to have said salvete omnes, quid agitis

luckily someone in the comments already pointed this out, and he actually responded:

Here is my translation of that sentence:

Omnes homines pares sunt hac tantum… videlicet morte.

This is obviously not a word-for-word translation. Latin shies away from using forms of esse in strings of sentences which are close to one another, and what Latin can do through the use of word order English has to do through the use of subordinate clauses. See if you can work out the literal translation while noting the syntax.
