Tuning up outside while waiting for the bride and groom at Killeavy Castle. So lucky with the weather as I’m not allowed to play inside now. No amplification either so thankfully my harp is good a loud too! Absolutely fantastic day at Harp Day North. 🎶🎶🎶🎶 Love the new experiences and opportunities my pupils are having with this second year of Harp Day North. Meeting new harp friends, learning new tunes and arrangements, hearing local ensembles play and learning from and listening to world famous harpists. So lucky to have this at doorstep!! What a lovely wedding!! Congrats to Gerry and Chimge! Such a lovely couple. They firstly had their civil ceremony at Carlingford’s heritage centre and then we all moved to Ghan House for the reception and a traditional Mongolian tea ceremony. Their guest Bud played a traditional instrument (a bit like a cello/double bass with 2 strings)! It was fab to play a few tunes with Bud and hear Mongolian traditional music. What a combo!!
