Hakuna Ma'Vodka

"I don't know if that should concern me or disappoint me," Caroline frowned, opening her arms just in time to make sure he didn't fall. "Why are you drunk, exactly?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“Good! We went ice skating, it was fun!” Jasmine chuckled. “That’s good, I am happy for you!”

"How romantic, did you guys do anything else?" Caroline teased, wiggling her eyebrows. "Thank you, same for you."

Jasmine followed Caroline through the zoo towards the African animals. She kept looking around and watching all of the animals they were a lot more active right now. “Right, so what were you looking for again?”

While Caroline knew she didn't need another cub, let alone a lion in general, she couldn't help her curiosity from dragging her to their exhibit. "Well, what I'm actually hoping to find is a meerkat. I figure they'll be the easiest to sneak out and I definitely want a Timon in my life."

“Fine, I’ll post pictures of…antiques all over your social media. Then you’ll just end up with a bunch of old people following you.”

"But that could be fun, old people on social media are hilarious. I say do it."

“If I’m ever in a coma, it’s going to be your job to read me bedtime stories every night. And if you ever read me anything other than The Chronicles of Narnia, I’ll die just so I can haunt you.”

"That's a horrible thing to say, and if you ever do, I can assure you that I wouldn't read you the Chronicles of Narnia. I'd read you every last Nicholas Sparks novel."

“Nope, you’re not getting it back now. It’s mine. I’m going to hack all of your social media and post pictures of cats.”

"I already post pictures of cat all over social media, so really you'd just be saving me the favor of having to do it on my own. So, thanks."

"I'm not debating that, and that actually sounds kind of good right now."

“Oh, attagirl, a professor, way to date up.” Landon reached out for a fistbump, not sure who that even was but going with it. “Maybe the goal should be not letting of those sort of people in your life in the first place? Optimistically, of course, a few always slip by.”

"I didn't realize it was such an achievement." Caroline shook her head,  bumping her fist against his. "I mean, that would be the desired option but it's not always as easy to achieve as it sounds. I am going to be better about scoping them out."

“Right,” Jasmine sighed. “So was I, let’s go!” She followed Caroline to the gate, watching for a minute before climbing after her. Once Jasmine was over she smirked.“So this is the Zoo at night?”

Once over on the other side, Caroline started down the trail that would lead them to the African animals, hoping to find one of the cubs. They were often kept in different parts. "This is it, well at least this is what it looks like when you're not supposed to be there."

“Hey, slytherin’s can be innocent!”

"Need I remind you of an innocent a few months ago? You are far from innocent."

“Yes actually, we went on the first date the other day.” Jasmine smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear. “What about you? How’s your relationship thing going?”

"Ooo, and how did that go?" Caroline asked curiously, "Pretty good, I can honestly say that we're both quite happy."
