Roo, Roo... my fierce Karou

my mom had cancer when i was a teenager, she had surgery to get it removed mid september, started quimo on october, started to lose her hair by the end of november/begining of december, i had a recital on a Saturday, i think it was a 4 or 7 of december… this woman went to see her hairstylist, shave her head and got a wig fixed and later that same day she showed up to my recital…. it only took me 20 years and have a kid of my own to understand how hard that must’ve been for her, how unconditional her love for me was and how i wish i was at least half of the woman she was, i wish i had half her strength and i wish my kid knows and understands just how much i love her the way i get it now

anoche soñé a mi mamá, o bueno más bien esta mañana, el despertador sonó y desperté, pospuse la alarma como mil veces y cada qe me volvía a dormir ella seguía ahí, de una manera tan vívida qe fue una crueldad cuando desperté y me di cuenta qe no estaba aquí

hoy tuve my momento más esquizofrénico de la década… vemos como me va en el último trimestre del embarazo
