I've really fucked up my sleep schedule this break. Anyways, I've been thinking about the "meaning" my tattoo has to me. I find that it's actually gained a little more as time goes by with it on my body. Originally, I wanted it because roses are something I've been fascinated in since middle school. Anyone who knew me back then who wants to call bullshit, should remember that they were the only things I would draw besides manga faces. Later I realized the obsession started because I always found them beautiful at the first home I remember, which was at my grandma's. Then later at the home I currently live in. The roses are long gone but I'm still obsessed. Just now, I was thinking about what I could get a tattoo of that would pay homage to an anime I've had dear to my heart since I've seen it. I remember my first favorite character was a dark, broody guy who was tough and maybe considered mean but as I've gotten older, I found myself falling in love with another character who's more mature and charming. I like to think my shift in favorites is because what I want in people have matured too. Back to the point, the character I'm in love with is associated with roses because that's what he fights with. I feel like the roses on my legs are also a great way to be like a symbol of him. I don't think I want cartoony tattoos on myself so I've been trying to think of subtle ways to have Yu Yu Hakusho on me without having any Japanese words or the characters on me. So I guess without realizing it, I already accomplished that. I'm thinking that I'd love to have a quote by the same character on me somewhere on my body at some point but it's not really a solid idea for me.

Goat cheese must be an acquired taste because I just had some and it was really good. I used to hate it.
