        *     #      𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄  :           a    headcanon    based    𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫  of    disney’s    the owl house .   𝙿𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻𝚂    𝙳𝙽𝙸 .     𝙶𝚁𝙸𝙼𝙳𝙰𝚁𝙺     portrayal     focusing     on     the     effects     of     cult     trauma     &     religious     abuse  .

I ENJOY this episode a lot in how it captures hunter, because it focuses in rage and grief and how anger is a secondary emotion, hunter's rage and anger was focused from sadness. He was sick and tired of losing and losing so he turned his tears into anger and decided to finally take a stance to stop losing things to his abuser.

I LIKE seeing a trauma victim be allowed to be angry, because so many abuse victims don't get that anger, or are allowed to experience the anger of having things taken time and time again.

I do have to say I am NOT a fan at how Willow TRIGGEREING hunter turned into a pity party for willow though. Turning a PTSD response by resurfacing a raw emotion such as grief into a pity party for herself... It is another personal tally on how she shouldn't be allowed to be in a romantic relationship while she herself isn't stable and doesn't know how to handle someone's trauma, especially as SEVERE as hunter's.

if anything. I can see them as friends, a shoulder for hunter to lean on and rely on, but it is still in a place where hunter cannot trust or open himself up, as when he does, and he lets his guard down, he is hurt over and over again..
