Ji Yeon is beyond grateful and relieved over the major success of the show. She’s appreciative to all the people that watched it, commented on it and even recommendations on it to those around them.

She appreciates all the comments on her acting, she knows she worked hard to be where she is, and to even have her versatile acting skills.

For her, she also doesn’t take the credit. She knows Namjun also did an incredible job. They really have good chemistry, strikingly good chemistry, they mirror each other quite well and might have even had some deep emotional conversations.

I don’t know why I’m thinking of this, but Ji Yeon loves how Namjun doesn’t see or judge her for her age? I think she might be older, yes she is, it’s just 3 years. Despite the minimal age gap, they saw each other as youngsters, just fooling around on set and building a strong, stable and healthy boundary dynamic.

Don’t get me or her wrong guys… she is proud of his success but she still has her opinions.

We all know S.K entertainment industry is kind of misogynistic. They don’t really give their celeb women grace, equal salary pay, basic respect and support. So she feels some sort of way about his success, it’s as if she rants to her close friends saying,

“I worked my ass off, I get all these good roles and act my ass off but everytime I ’m paired up with a male co-star they get the media attention,praise, birthday cafes, interviews, brand deals and everything that I want… which I’ll probably never get …EVER!”

I appreciate the compliment, I think at times you really need to be blunt and honest about readings. My mom has told me that im too blunt but unfortunately, with tarot, the answer goes two ways, it’s either good or bad. I’d rather avoid sugarcoating or even worse beating around the bush. At the end of the day, the prediction will either turn out positively or negatively based off my prediction/foresight.

In terms of the biased punishment for male and female idols is just rooted in misogyny and projection, I don’t know… it feels like many fans who punish female idols are projecting because of their close proximity to their male bias?? I don’t know but it needs to stop.

I’ve been a czennie for years now. I remember seeing that clip, and well the rest of the dozen problematic behaviour the members did. I used to bias Mark because, I didn’t expect him to be so ignorant since hes appeared to be genuinely kind and respectful to everyone around him.

It’s honestly tiring seeing how society treats Black people across the diaspora. We’ve done nothing wrong, apart from bringing joy to this world and creating so many inventions that keep the entire globe functioning we’ve never been given credit for.

Yes, the cards and energy did indicate that Mark does allegedly hate watch Malcolm X. I did shuffle on the side, and he disagrees with Malcolm X’s dislike for yt people in general. A lot of Asians or Canadians did say that Korean-Canadians are hardcore Christians and White Supremacists so… they’re really not surprised.

For the internalized racism part maybe there are indications of that, it doesn’t seem like he hates himself or and his culture based off the reading nor even wants to be white. The energy just felt like he idolises and praises White people a lot of them time. Yes, he will have Asian friends, marry and date Asians. Respect and defend his culture. But he will fight and protect his Yt people… with the entirety of his heart and soul.

What honestly ticks me off about the reading is how Mark just willing chose to ditch Black culture with zero hesitation. All the rapping, and dancing you’ve gained so much money and “legendary status” from you’re just discarding it and the originators to run to Country music? White Christianity??

All the black musicians, you’ve taken and used the demos/music/culture of… Imagine how big those artists would’ve been? How talented they are but they’re left in the dark because well, the world doesn’t want to support Black people unless we are entertaining with memes/humour. Like look 67, was made by a Black rapper, but the one person given credit for making the meme trend is some yt boy? I have not even seen, the rapper on ads? billboards? brand collabs?

I think we should all brace ourselves because I’ve seen so many older gen stans complain about how trashy their faves are, once their contract expired or they willing ended their contract and all their past/present actions were exposed!🙃

Y’all… this man is AWARE! Fully fully aware!! When I say hes aware. I mean he knows about the dark history of slavery and racism in America. He knows about the atrocities committed against Black slaves by White people under their belief of the confederate flag.

He knows Black/African American history down to the T. He knows it all, the segregation, political movements/leaders. I don’t know why I’m thinking of Malcolm X specifically, but he’s the one Black leader he’s focused on… merely obsessed with him? Probably because of Malcolm X’s distaste for YT people specifically?? For some reason I’m getting heavy imagery of Mark just watching Malcom X’s speeches, interviews for hours… and I mean just glued to the screen. Rewinding, fast forwarding and repeat.

I’m honestly not even kidding. Mark is obsessed with Malcolm X… a bit too much. It’s the only thing replaying and showing up intuitively in my head.

He knows about the flag, he knows about how riled up and rightfully angered people are when they see this flag in this present day of age. He knows it’s not normal to just support this flag in general!

Why would he wear the shirt though?

Yes! Mark actually saw that shirt, pulled out his card and bought it with ZERO hesitation. And why you ask? Well, it’s because… he supports it. Supports the history of the flag. Supports the meaning of the flag. Supports ALL the ill minded views behind the flag.

Yea. He thought he wasn’t going to be photographed but he still didn’t really care or feel any sort of remorse… regret and embarrassment walking around with that shirt in public. He genuinely thought he looked “fire”, “niche”, “edgy??” He honestly felt like him (the guy in the picture), or maybe I can say that’s how people looked at him in public?? They saw what views he aligns himself with but paid him no mind because well… racism?? or they just thought he’s a weird confused Asian guy because why are you walking around with a confederate flag in public??

Hes seeing all the comments, articles and twitter posts. He can tell the fans are disappointed in him and angered by him. Especially after they mourned his departure from NCT, he is aware they feel stabbed in the back to be honest.

He does feel a tad bit of remorse, but he’s concerned about his PR. How this is affecting his image in the Western scene? Mainly with black producers, but it looks like, he isn’t necessarily aiming to work with them… could he consider being a country artist? Christian artist? Work closely within the country music scene???

He really wants to work with the white Christian musicians, I don’t see him spitting bars anymore. He’ll just play his guitar and sing about his avoidance? Relationships? Depression?

There’ll be no soul in his new songs. No flavour. Just… guitar strings and cursive singing/mumbling??

SM is having a field day with this drama, they probably even more relieved he didn’t do this while under their contract.

I know right… it’s hypocritical because it’s not like they haven’t done this before. It seems as if when the appropriation and racial drama would circulate around about NCT… they paid off news outlets to not report on it. From twitter pop media accounts to a random low ranking news article. They know how crucial PR is in the West… so they cover everything up immediately.

Now with Mark, the one member they didn’t want to leave the company, is now involved in this T-shirt controversy. They’re laughing at him behind his back because if he had stayed, they would’ve covered for him by now, but he chose to ditch them. They’re not helping him with ish… and will just watch him kind of tarnish his reputation/image.

They kind of saying, “This is your mess now, deal with it. Leave us out of it!! You’re no longer under our contract so why should we help you? Why should we pay for your PR cover ups, if you arent even generating income for us?”

How does Mark feel about getting no help from his former company?

He thought SM would have his back?? He thought that since he worked there for most of his life, his company would somehow still have his back.

Theres two male figures.One in charge with the music production, concepts, lyrics, demos and etc. The second one in charge with international PR, marketing, social media control/maintenance?? Bots? Paid fan pages? Western media interview connections? He had hope or trust that, they would be on his side… help him with the resources they’ve had and been using while he was in NCT…

But once that contract termination was signed. Their connections were done for… and I see it won’t be mended. The two male figures won’t even lift a finger to help Mark, they have to focus on their career, contract rules and finances. From their POV, their dynamic with Mark was business centred, purely business. Mark was their golden ticket to success and PR, probably generated income for majority of the company. Since he left, it’s been kind of rocky on their end specifically with their finances and pay because how can they offer brands? Deals? Partnerships? involving NCT without Mark? Mark was probably the one member in high demand for both local and global projects/media for SM.

It’s as if they’re saying, “If you’re making us lose money since you’ve left, you want us to take away more of our money to help YOU? If we lose partnerships and revenue, so will you too. If we’re sinking, we’re not giving you any raft either.”

+in the same interview, there were moments where he would look and crave validation from his teammates/director… as I had mentioned in the reading with his attempts to build connections and be noticed. (this is no shade/hate to him too…exclusion from childhood can kind of lead to this.☹️)

He is a very humble man.

Namjun, is passionate about his acting career, he spent his entire life aiming and working towards being an actor. I can sort of feel that he, from a very young age ensured that he had a clean reputation and image because he knows how important that is on his end if he wants to be a major celebrity.

Unfortunately, I do see that he used to get, and probably still does get disheartened, unmotivated and almost completely numb about his life? his choices? his career path? when his shows don’t really blow up, or their broadcasting companies don’t get good viewership and major public attention. All of his past roles, didn’t give him much attention since he was mainly in the background lead or his fashion/role made him look unappealing to the general public.

Namjun at times contemplates if wether or not he should kiss ass or try get closer with managers/directors/producers and even actors who have good portfolios and connections within the industry since he’s genuinely desperate for a good role, recognition and a good script for once! At times when he did/does attempt to have a good relationship, he gets rejected, left on read or simply just looked down on or gossiped about?? Probably by more affluent well known actors…. thus leaving him kind of stuck, isolated and hopeless about his career.

Namjun is an emotionally receptive person, and is kind of fun to hang around with. He tends to joke around a lot, probably speaks informally if the other person allows him to. He can sometimes make mistakes forget lines but doesn’t beat himself down or even another cast member making a mistake he doesn’t make a big deal out of it.

Despite Namjun being bubbly and kind, it’s almost as if when he gets back home, he shuts down and immediately has a sudden wave of sadness and loneliness. He wishes for financial stability, but he’s kind of lacking. He wishes for recognition, but he doesn’t have it as yet. He wishes for more kindness from others, but he gets none.

On some days he doesn’t want to leave his apartment/home, he feels as if the world is too unkind to him and he hasn’t achieved his goals but unfortunately he has bills to pay so he has to suck it up and continue treating others around him with the outmost kindness and respect because he doesn’t want them to feel the same way he does.

He was reaching his breaking point before receiving the script, during the filming and right before the release of the series. His life was practically nearly falling apart? Could be him not paying bills? Debt? Contract? Something major was going to change in a more so negative way if it wasn’t for this series.

He could’ve even doubted that the show would be loved by the public since he isn’t a “mainstream popular actor.” So he didn’t necessarily keep his hopes up, he just worked and did his best and treated his team well and wrapped up the filming.

Now for the success of it all, he is EXTREMELY grateful and relieved. He sees the comments, posts, engagements and probably even more people recognising him when he’s walking around in public. Apart from his career elevating, he is fully aware that this show wouldn’t also be this successful without Lim Ji Yeon, Namjun probably sent her a few gifts and a long message thanking her for the work she put in, and having a good dynamic while filming the series.

Once again, I did say he is a humble man. People may be fawning over his abs and his hot face but he is aware that the shows success wouldn’t have existed if it weren’t for his costars, directors, producers, scriptwriters, extras, costume designers, translators, drivers, camera crew and all of those unnamed behind the scenes.

You know… I wouldn’t be surprised if they all have a group chat. BP support BTS, they probably interact with their social media posts, stream their songs, know all the lyrics too.

BP think they’re mega super stars, and are proud of them. No ounce of jealousy, envy or weird vibes. They probably even write positive comments on their burner account or naver blogs.

BTS -> BLACKPINK

BTS also support BP, truthfully so. There’s no competition or feud over whos the biggest group, whos had the most impact, whos done what first, who did this the latest. BTS view BP as their sisters or really good teammates too.

For example, if one BP member wins an award and BTS members were in the nomination, they don’t get mad or resentful over the win and they always come forward to congratulate them.

It looks like the members wish to interact with BP, post pictures, selfies and acknowledge them and their music but they know it’s going to harm them due to the fans. If there are any hate trains or an influx of hate comments, the BTS members send apology messages/gifts.

BLACKPINK -> ARMY

It’s possible they see all the hate comments, comparisons, hate posts and etc. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t access their socials at all, because it looks like the hate comments get to them.

Leading them to have all sorts of self doubt, image issues, insecurities and etc.

They really hope and pray that the fandom changes and stops coming after them to be honest… they really desperately want a break.

BTS -> BLINKS

The members do see the hate comments, but it looks like there isn’t an influx of hate comments they see from BLINKS and it seems like they notice how BLINKs put in most of their energy to support the BP members solo careers.

Apart from that, the comments and hate don’t really get to them to be honest and oddly enough, despite their support for BP and wish for an open connection, it looks like the BTS members know their fandom will “handle everything” when it comes to hate comments wether it’s from BLINKs, other fandoms or the press!

So overall, the groups see each other as equals. They enjoy each others music, enjoy seeing each other in private and all the members wish for less fandom fueds.🩷💜

The NCT members were so supportive of his decision although some didn’t wish to let him go too soon. They are aware Mark is the centre of the group and gave the group a part of its identity and they’ll never doubt or discredit him for his contribution.

They all are grateful for him as a friend and team member. Even though he may have left the group none of them will cut him off, they don’t want to ever abandon or resent him for his personal decision.

Overall, it’s just an overwhelming amount of love from his members. They’ll miss him but at the end of the day the end of a company contract doesn’t seperate a true family.

SM Entertainment:

this company is having a crisis meeting as we speak. like code red code hurricane and earthquake warning alarm blaring type of meeting.

It seems like SM was aware that this would happen? they knew that he would leave the group and company, it’s possible that there could’ve been some conflict behind the scenes mainly with him being overworked? he demanded and begged for a break but wasn’t clearly given any and they didn’t feel any sort of remorse at all. SM clearly told him, “under our contract you’ll have to do whatever we tell you to do! you have no say! no freedom! no full control, unless we give you a 0.1% chance of input in a comeback/concept production.”

The company tried to threaten Mark? manipulate him? bait him? blackmail him? or used some insane methods to keep him in the company but Mark has a clean reputation, and usually sticks to himself and around respectable people/friends.

So…Mark barely budged or winced when he was threatened because he knew he was safe.

They had to respect his contract decision because it’s clear to everyone that his 10 year contract was over, and SM don’t want to stay boxed in their reputation with their artists trapped under “Slave contracts.”

it also looks like he was bracing for major public backlash or some media craze when the news dropped, because well he is watching everyone’s reactions. luckily the publics reaction wasn’t too negative at all, although people had their meltdowns he noticed it wasn’t harsh or mean spirited and that they accepted and supported his decision.

with the publics reaction, I believe he didn’t expect it to gain so much attention and views, he probably believed he and his group weren’t too popular for some reason??? so the news articles, nearly 10 million curated posts on social media platforms about his departure kinda shook him.

overall, he is aware the czennies arent too happy about his departure but he respects and appreciates how understanding they all are… including the general public who aren’t part of his fandom
