Starter For CaptainDraken
Karma laughed a little at the exchange. It was the first time she had seen Eamon take interest in someone with out testing them at all. Draken on the other hand well the fact he could not put together a complete sentence made chuckle, for a kid who could turn into a dragon he was not very brave in the face of his kind. She rested on the back of her heel and watched knowing well enough that Eamon would not hurt the boy. Not with that look in his eye.
Eamon lifted his head and let out a bellowing laugh. The boy in front of him was a half-ling he could see it in his eyes, the dragon resting just behind them. The boy how ever seemed frightened of him and it was humorous. They were of the same kin after all. âChild I have seen your kind before. Long ago when I was just a fledgling just got my wings if I can remember correctly. Your kind and herâs use to fly together. Strongest of all 2 legged creatures I had ever seen, with your ability to change and hers to take what is not her. It was like a dragon when the two of them were together.â he would have kept going into his story if Karmaâs tapping foot had not distracted him. âEamon.â She huffed fanning her wings behind her. âThatâs not what he asked.â âOh right sorry.â the dragon chuckled turning back to the boy and laying his head down on the ground. After all the sand was soft and it took a lot of effort of hold it up. âYour kind young-ling are a born race. You do not get it from getting bitten or clawed like the wolves. Most likely it had been in your family genes for centuries and only now starting to come out with you. Why, I could not say but it is their so except it and work with it. I can not tell you much more though. It has been an very long time since I have seen one and when they were around. Well they annoyed me so I kept to my self.Â
At this point Draken had gotten over the intimidating factor that Eamon possessed, and was instead looking avidly at the large dragon. There was something about his voice that made the young Were-Dragon want to just listen for hours. However, the elder dragon's words sparked something in his mind, causing him to break from his reverie. "So it comes from my ancestry...my folks have some explaining to do. If I can find them that is." He mumbled aloud to himself. He actually chuckled at the last part of Eamon's explanation. "Well I hope I do not annoy you, sir. Thank you very much for imparting your wisdom to me." He said, trying to convey as much respect as he could.Â
Turning back to Karma, Draken raised an eyebrow. Before speaking he took a moment to admire her wings. They really were something, both beautiful and somewhat frightening. He knew he would want to know more about Flyers, but perhaps now was not quite the time. "So Miss reaper lady, what will you do now?"
