The way isolation plays on your psyche, and the way that a solid support system can improve your life is insane. One of the worst things that we did as a society is removing most avenues to find this kind of thing, and the over reliance on the idea of getting better on your own

To be perfectly fair, bugs bunny would also love taking money for starring in anti-weed propaganda and then using said money to buy weed

One of the funniest things I've seen happen in real-time is the gradual progression of cyberdeck DIY stuff going from "this is obscure nerd shit" to "unless you literally need a Windows/MacOS device for work, a tiny bespoke handmade Linux machine will probably give you less headache and be more reliable and is vastly less likely to get remotely bricked by an update or obsoleted"

The problem with this though is that Linux Users (distinct from people who use Linux) are some of the most annoying fucking people on the planet, so a lot of people who would probably benefit from a little custom Linux machine are going to be put off of the concept entirely by condescending nerds with superiority complexes
