I never imagined that more than three years would pass under the yoke of merciless people, or rather, the Zionist army cannot even be called human; they are beasts devoid of mercy. Yesterday, a nine-year-old girl was killed by an Israeli sniper, just for fun. And these scenes from yesterday, the bombing of an entire residential complex—I never knew I would witness this with my own eyes, and the world remains silent.

I just want a peaceful life with my loved ones in a place that suits me, to study and achieve my dreams. But all of that is destroyed because I'm in Gaza. I beg you to help me. not to be all "these two words will change your life" or whatever, but I promise you, programming in "good catch!" as your response to people correcting you/pointing out errors or whatever removes so much friction from interactions, and comes with a delightful happy meal toy of "not hating yourself so much for making mistakes"

I use "I stand corrected" a lot. The mild silliness of the outdated language makes it work for me.

I think it's really funny how the practice of bleeping out profanity is not only completely ineffective as a censorship tool, it's had the opposite effect of creating an environment where it's ridiculously easy to edit apparent profanity into footage that doesn't actually contain it. Like you can just grab any audio or video clip and bleep out anything and people will automatically mentally insert profanity in there it fucking rules.

why is it that ppl hear "fetish" and immediately think "devoid of morals" like ur genuinely not making sense. ppl dont actually become inhuman and beast-like when theyre turned on, thats something we are told bc it aligns with christian patriarcal values, u know that right? desire isnt actually bad. it doesnt make you evil, or incapable of having/respecting boundaries
